Chapter 24. Elly And Natalia Investigate

Nikki's P.O.V
Elly and I, were so upset. Elly kept getting permission to stay home. Everyone knows that the only reason she's home is because she is crying. I don't blame her for that, I cried as well. But I wasn't going to stay home every day for it. I thought about everything in the past few days. Then I thought about the day Ashley went missing. Jack followed her outside, but both of them were gone. Both of them were missing. I had an idea. I was going to wait after school to call Elly and tell her about it.

Its was the end of the day and as I started to walk home I grabbed my phone and called Elly. She didn't answer, so I kept calling for like the 23rd time and she finally answered. All I heard was sobbing but I could hear her trying to control it. "I know your sad. But I have something important to tell you." I said, and she stopped crying. "Wh-what?" She said, through sniffles. "Ok, so Ashley went outside and about five minutes after Jake went out, they were out there alone. And on that same day that Ashley was gone, Jake was gone too. I think he might've had something to do with Ashley dying." I explained to her, and then she was quiet for a minute. "Meet me at the creek over by Ashley's house." She said, and I said ok. It was about three hours after and I saw her waiting playing in the water as her wolf. I tried turning to my wolf, but I couldn't. "Just get into a handstand position and take your mind off of everything and only think of a wolf. Its gonna work especially since we're near a lot of nature. Ashley taught me this." She said with a smile. But lost it at the last sentence she said. I did as she said and I turned into a beautiful grey wolf. She smiled and looked at me. "Ashley, would've loved to see you turn." She said but this time kept her smile. "Ok, I thought about it and your right. We should go to find a witch. But I think we need to find a different witch, I don't think Christy has as much power. But, we mostly need a witch to help us find out who did this to Ashley." I explained. And then we turned into our humans again. She smiled brighter and nodded her head. We turned back to a wolf and ran in through a million trees there was finally a place where it looked really creepy. And we knew it was the witch's part of the forest. "Hello, we are looking for a witch to help us. We are known with witches, we are friends with the witch Christy and her sister." Elly yelled out, and we heard some voices whispering and a lot more gasped when she said Christy and her sister. "Who are you?!" A lady demanded walking up a hill thing. "I'm Elly, and this is Natalia." Elly answered. I kinda wish she didn't tell her our names. "What kind of witch are you looking for?" She asked and came to be more visible. "We're looking for a witch that is powerful, enough to give a life back." "And who can solve mysteries." Elly spoke and I spoke after her. We held hands just in case she was going to say no. And cast a spell on us. "Ok, I have that exact witch. Amara! Come here." The lady demanded. It seemed she was the queen of all the witches. A girl walked up, she was dressed in all black. She looked a little scary. "Ok, I will walk with you. But, don't get sassy or tell me what to do." She gave us rules. I didn't like that. But, we really needed the help. We walked out of the forest. And as we reached the moonlight she looked up at the moon, she started to say something. And blue started to glow around her. She suddenly stopped and looked at us. "Wh-what were you doing?" I asked, a little scared that she might kill us. "I was saying a ritual to give me more power." She said smiling giving a sweet voice. "Why were you all evil back there? And now all of a sudden sweet?" I asked super confused Elly nodded her head, indicating to tell us. "My master said I have to be cruel and evil. But what she doesn't know is that when I go off, I'm the most sweetest person you could ever meet." She said answering us, she popped a rose in her hands, it was purple. I've never seen a purple rose. "Oh, why do you listen to her?" I kept asking questions but that was st one I didn't want to make her mad. "Because if I don't then she will kill me." She explained. "Anyways, let's get onto what we were actually doing. You need to find something out, correct." She said and we nodded our heads. "Well, come on then. Ok, tell me your story." She told us as she sat down on a rock. We told her the whole situation. She thought and stood up. "Ok, well first things first, where did you see Jake last." She asked, I looked at Elly and back to Amara. "I last saw him in Ashley's house, a week ago. But then he left outside I didn't see him but he was outside." I explained then she asked, "can you take me to Ashley's house, please?" We nodded our heads giving a fave that said 'of course'. Then we walked and lead her to Ashley's house. Once we got there, we knocked on the door to see if her mother was home. She opened the door, as she saw that it was us. She opened it wider and let us in. But when Amara started to walk in, she got scared. "Don't worry, this is Amara, she's going to help us find who killed Ashley and bring her back." I said explaining the whole coming in with a witch situation. "Ok, so where were you guys when you last saw him?" She asked and I pointed to Ashley's couch. She did something and grabbed essence or something from the couch. It was Jakes DNA, she walked outside and performed a spell. All I heard her say was, "nachimi akane nusitak." Once she finished there was a little bit of finger prints that lit up in green on the wall. Amara ran to it, she smelled it in and closed her eyes. She scared us a little, because she quickly looked back and spoke, "Ashley, was choked right here. Jake came out here grabbed her neck and choked her. But this is NOT where she died. He gaged her against the wall and took off with her, unconscious. If we get some rest, I can restore my power, and we can track down where he took her." She explained everything in detail of what happened. "Yes, you girls need some rest. Its 12:37, come on. Call your mothers and tell them that your staying over." Ashley's mother said and we listened. We called our moms, and told them that we would be spending the night at Ashley's. They didn't know that Ashley died. We all went to sleep a little after we called our moms.

Elly's P.O.V.
I woke up to the sound of chirping birds. Amara was already awake downstairs. Nikki was still asleep, I didn't want to wake her up. So, I left the room. As I headed downstairs, I smelled bacon. When I got to the end of the stairs, I saw Ashley's mom. She was making everyone breakfast. Natalia finally woke up. And came down. She put her hand to her head. She probably had a headache.

We ate our food and looked to Amara. She said, "let's go. We probably have a long trip." "I want to come too. I'm going to make whoever killed my baby, pay." Ashley's mom said. "Yeah, let's do this. We all got in Ashley's moms car. "I don't think we've properly met. I'm Natiri, Ashley's mother." Natiri stated. But Natiri didn't have to drive. Amara put a spell to make the car follow Jakes tracks.

We were in the car for about five hours. It was 3:25. I was so tired, I thought I would've fell asleep a long time ago. I stayed awake. But once it was 7:59 me and Nikki fell asleep on each others shoulders.

Amara's P.O.V.
I watched as Elicia and Natalia went to sleep. They were so peaceful. I wish I could sleep that way. But I can't.

It was morning, I watched as the sun rose. "Mmmm, is it morning yet?" I heard Elicia say as she woke up. "Yup. I think its time to get up anyway. The car. Its slowing down." I said looking out the window. All I saw was a dark black torn apart cabin. "Come on, let's go in." Natalia said, I jumped from hearing her speak. I didn't know she was awake.
