Finn's POV

I still couldn't believe what Kurt had gotten me into. I think I might actually be falling for this Rachel girl.
When I first walked up to her in the hallway, she was even prettier than in her picture. How had I not noticed her these past years?
When she saw me and I asked her about Breadstix that night, she looked around like I was talking to someone else. When she realized I was talking to her, her cheeks turned a bright red.
     "Uh, sure" she said.
"Okay, I'll pick you up at 7?" I turned around, wondering what I'd just gotten myself into.
When I went to pick her up at 7, she came out in a gorgeous short, blue dress. I was waiting in the car when she came out and when she turned to lock the door, I noticed how great her butt was. 'Come on Hudson' I thought to myself. 'You've got a girlfriend still, quit thinking like that.'
It was a silent, awkward drive to Breadstix but when we got there, we started a little more.
She told me that she was in glee club and that she had big plans for Broadway someday.
Then, she asked me what I was planning on doing after high school. This is where I'd totally blanked. I'd never really thought about what I wanted to do. I always wanted to do something important like my father.
Before I could say anything, an announcer came on and was calling up people for karaoke.
"Oh, I'll be right back" Rachel said anxious.
She went up on the stage and grabbed the microphone. She whispered the song to the announcer and 'On my Own' started playing.
For the record, the only reason I knew that was because of Kurt.
Then she started singing. 'Oh my gosh' I thought. It was incredible that a sound as big as that was coming out of a girl as little as her. From that moment, I knew that she was special.
After the song ended, she put the microphone back on the stand. She made her way back to the table with a huge grin on her face.
"That was amazing!" I said a little to loud.
     Thanks Finn" she said happily.
I saw that a waitress was trying to clear our table and was getting impatient so we started gathering our stuff. But I didn't want to leave. Something was telling me that I needed to stay and talk to her. I needed to get to know her better.
Before I could even think about what I was doing, I quickly said, "So do you wanna come over for a bit?"
She looked surprised but quickly went back to her smiley self.
     "Sure, sounds great."
I smiled at her and we headed out. I didn't know what we were gonna do when we got to my house, but one thing was for sure. I needed more time with her.
