Chapter 1

Rachel's POV
     I'd just pulled up at the Lima Bean in my new car. I walked in and Kurt was already sitting there. He saw me and waved me over. I hurried to the table that he was sitting at.
     "Where have you been, diva?" Kurt asked.
I put down my bag and said "Sorry, I had to help Mercedes with a song for glee club." Kurt had a little half smile on his face. "Okay, but I hope you like cold coffee." I let out a little laugh and say down. With a best friend like Kurt, it's hard not to smile at some of the things he does.
     "So," Kurt said " Senior year. Got any big plans before we head for New York?" I thought about that question for a bit. I didn't really have any huge plans. I just wanted to focus on my Broadway career and NYADA. "Well," I finally said "I would like to win nationals for my last year."
     "While I agree and would also like a big win at nationals, do you have anybody on you're mind that you'd like to get a little frisky with?" Kurt asked.
     "Psh, yeah right," I said. But then I got thinking about it and realized that there was someone that I've been meaning to get closer to.
     "Well, actually" I started to say but then he bursts in. "I knew it! I knew there was someone" he said excitedly."Who is it?"
I blushed a little and said "It's Finn."
"As in my step brother Finn?" Kurt asked surprised.
     I came off a little more annoyed then I meant to sound, but I said "No, the garbage man Finn. Yes your step brother Finn!!"
     "Oh man this is so perfect" Kurt said with a huge smile on his face. "I mean, I never pegged you for the jock type."
     "Oh please, YOU had a crush on him in sophomore year before his mom and your dad got married" I said.
     Kurt's face turned slightly red in embarrassment. "Look, do you want me to help score you a date with him or what?" He said.
     I was in disbelief when he said that. But I was to overshadowed with joy. "Oh Kurt, I thought you'd never ask!"
     Kurt laughed and said "That's my diva!"
