Chapter 15: My mate

Midnight's POV

So Lu is the queen of of the dragons. Is that why she had feelings for Mystagon?? Is he her mate?? I know that if I was her mate. She wouldn't be having any for anyone else. I've been around Cobra that I know that for a fact. Hey Lu?? Since your the queen of dragons that means that you're a dragon slayer right?? "Yes Macbeth, why do you ask.." So that means that we're mates?? "Maybe" she says. Maybe?? What do you mean by that!!! Are you having doubts of being with me!! " no.. I don't know if your my..m-mate Macbeth..." She runs out of the house. I sit down. Trying to calm down.

**At the guild**

Mystagon's POV

I'm sitting at my usual table. When Lu comes running up here. Tears running down her cheeks. Lu!!! What's wrong?!?! I ask her while I run and bring her into a hug. "I-I don't..... Know....what got...into......him.." She chokes out between sobs. Lu!! What did he do?? I shout. "He... Got.. Mad.. At me.. For doubting if he is truly my mate..." She whispers the last part. Oh, Lu.. You should know that if he isn't your mate by the tingling you get when your around the person. If he isn't your mate. you'll know if the person is your mate if you long to be with them all day every day. Do you get those feelings when your not around Midnight?? "I-i just.. D-dont know Mysty.." She stutters. Well he isn't your mate then if you don't feel the same tell him. He's already hurting since he found out that he isn't your mate. You have to break the ice. Tell him when you go home tonight. If you need to though you can take a night to think about it. "Thanks Mysty. That's why I can always count on you. " she says while she tries to get closer to my chest.

Lucy's POV

I try my best to get closer to Mystagon. I hear him just chuckle and he brings me into his chest. Before I knew I fell into a deep sleep.

Mystagon's POV

Lu fell asleep in my lap. I just stay put for a few hours so I wouldn't wake her up. Once again I see midnight running up the stairs. Once he sees me holding Lucy. He bolts down the stairs. I slowly and gently put Lu on the bench. I bolt down after Midnight. MID!! WHY IN HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT TO LUCY!! SHE ALREADY HAS HAD A HARD LIFE!!! "I truly love her.. She loves me to but not the same as she loves you Mystagon. I can see in her eyes that she can't love me as she loves you." Is all he says before he walks out with a single tear falling down his cheek. So is that why she told him that she doesn't know if he is her mate. She didn't know if I was her mate or not. She wanted to see for herself. I hear the guild mumble things like "Mystagon stole Lucy from Midnight" or "they truly belong together"
