Chapter 8 -The new member

Midnight POV

I'm so glad that Lucy chose me instead of Gray. I walk down the stairs with Lucy holding my hand. Hey Lu?? Why did you have to leave those years ago?? Do you remember?? "Mid, I don't remember anything before I left. I'm sorry." She says. Well don't be Lu, because of before I did something horrible. That I never wanted to do. "Oh, Mid. Do you know what my magic was before the accident??.." Yea it was water dragon slayer magic and whole bunch of other dragon slayer magic. "Oh, so I was powerful huh??" Yea.. I guess so. I walked over to the bar and ordered a beer. While Lu just ordered a Milkshake. While drinking and getting to know Lu again. I notice Gray trying to flirt with some girls. Finally he's backing off of my Lucy. I'm so happy. Lucy chose me over Gray! "Mid, I said do you want to go on a mission??" No, not right this minute.. Maybe after tomorrow?? "Oh, sure.. I guess."

Lucy's POV

I wonder why Mid doesn't want to go on a mission.. I was hoping to go on a mission with him. Hey Mid, Can I ask a question?? "Sure.." Why didn't you come to me sooner?? You could of tried to make me remember. I mean that I would of tried to remember. "It wasn't that I wanted to Lu. It was that I wanted you to remember on your own. So you can see for yourself that we were destined to be together. So I wouldn't be trying to just to get rejected by the love of my life." Oh, Midnight!! I would of never ever hurt you if you tried to tell me what happened between us when we were kids. I do understand though. As long as your here with me now. I love you Midnight. No one can change that. "I love you too Lucy. We get up to go back to his apartment. Bye Minna!!! I yell before I walk out. My hand is in Midnight's hand. We walk home in silence.

Midnight's POV

Lucy is the best for the way she has been treating me. I almost killed her three times. She is still treating me with kindness. That's why I am so in love with Lucy. Lu?? Why do you treat me with kindness when I almost killed you 3 times?? "That's in the past Mid, right this minute I love you. I don't fucking care what happened in the past or what you tried to do." We get home. I unlock the door and head straight for my room. Thinking that Lu would follow. She stayed in the living room.

Lucy's POV

Why would he be wondering about all of this. Doesn't he remember that I don't remember all of that. Mid walks into the living room. "Hey Lu" hey Mid, what is it?? "I really just love you, Lu. I'm so sorry for all the shit I put you through these past few days. I just don't want to lose you." Right then and there I walked up to him and kissed him passionately.
