Chapter 18: My Choice

Lucy's POV

I get out of the bath tub. I get dressed. I walk into my bedroom. I see that Mysty fell asleep again. I giggle. I just go to the kitchen and start to cook his favorite. Chocolate chip pancakes. I start to hum.

Mysty's POV

I wake up to the smell of chocolate chip pancakes. I get up and walk over to the door. Lu?? Whatcha cookin'?? I ask even though I know the answer. "Your favorite." Is all she says. She starts to hum again. I walk up to her and hug her from behind. This is why I love you Lucy Heartfilia. I whisper. She giggles and says. "Because I cook??" No.. Because you know me so well. You know me better then myself. "Oh well you know me better then me Mysty." She says before laughing. So your not going to admit it huh?? I say before pulling her into a hug. "Admit what Mysty??" She says nervously. That you love me. That I'm your mate. You know I'm your mate. Don't act dumb. I say to her. You know that your mate gets the same tingling feeling right?? I say before laughing myself. "No!?! I didn't know that!!" She shouts. Yes Lu. We both know that we are each other's mate. So don't deny it. I can't stand anyone being with you. I've been holding back long enough. I want you to be mine and mine only.

Lucy's POV

So he is my mate. But why do I still have feelings for Macbeth?? When Mysty is my mate. Why is this so confusing. Why do I have to be the queen of dragons? Mysty?? Are you sure we are m-mates?? I stutter the last part. "Yes Lu. Remember I've been around Salamander so I know the details. Also I studied dragon slayers. Levy helped me. He says the last part quiet, but I heard it because of my dragon hearing. Oh.. So.. I guess I'm the dumb one here huh?? I say disappointedly. I sit down at the table. "Lucy, this doesn't make you dumb. Your still new at this." He says. I cheer up. Okay well what now?? "Well we can't be without each other more then three days. Also you have to mark me. The last thing is that we gotta do this before dragon slayer mating season." He explains very detailed. Okay. So let's do the marking now. Then we can go to the guild okay?? I say while getting closer to him. He picks me up and puts me in his lap. I wrap my arms around his neck while he wraps his around my waist. This feels so different, but so right at the same time. Now after I think about it. I do feel tingling when I'm close to Mystagon. This is true. Mystagon is my true mate. My thoughts are disturbed by Mystagon kissing my neck. "Lu, your so perfect. I couldn't resist. Sorry." He says. I giggle. I love you Mystagon. I mark you as my own now. I say while biting into his neck.

Mystagon's POV

All I feel is the tingling pain. This feels so right. I clench onto her shirt because of the pain. We probably should go to the guild. Its been a week since the last time.
