"Eva, I've got a plan." I called out as I entered her hotel room.As soon as I entered her suite, I felt weird. Something was not right. I had been giving Eva, the mother of my children, my full protection from a dangerous drug dealer, named Ted Brown.
Ted Brown was California's biggest drug dealer and most dangerous man(as well as my sort of ex-mistresses, boyfriends dad). She had gotten on the wrong side of Ted and now he was threatening her and our daughters lives.
I searched the suite, looking for details of a break in or a stuggle; instead just like any disorganised female, I found her room in a mess, her clothes all over the place and a dump of garbage. But the only thing missing is Eva.
I gave Eva strict instructions, that were not hard to follow:
1. Do not leave the room.
2. Call me if you have left the room or if you are in trouble. It looks as if she has defied both of my rules that were there to keep her safe. I started to feel a panic rise inside of me. What if Ted had gotten ahold of her?
As I felt panic stream through my veins, I collapsed on her bed. I was thinking through what to do next when I heard the door slam.
I abruptly sat up, seeing Eva enter the suite, with McDonald's in her tiny hands.
"Maleah! I told you to keep your ass inside the damn suite and you still went out! Ted had eyes everywhere! He could have gotten you!" I shouted, concerned for her well being.
"Hold up- who the fuck is Maleah? Do I look like her something?" Eva asked.
Maleah was on my mind so much, that I started to call other girls by her name. She was forever in my mind and heart and I wasn't ready to let her go. I haven't heard from her in two weeks and I am growing curious about her whereabouts, yet every time I ask Maurice, he simply replies with 'She is pretty depressed right now. Somethings must have upset her whilst I was gone'. I knew something was wrong, but it was no longer my place to step in and get involved.
"You don't need to worry about Maleah. I called you Maleah by accident. Worry about your damn self! Next time, tell me if your leaving! I need to keep you safe." I warned her.
She rolled her eyes and pulled out her French fries.
"I've got a plan on how to take down Ted." I told her, excited to spill the tea about my ideas. She nodded, meaning proceed.
"I have strong connections with hitmen and past drug dealers who all have beef with Ted. I can recruit them, offering then a large sum of money each, making a mini army to raid Ted's warehouse and take down his men one by one. I've done shit like this before, so I know what I'm doing." I said to her.
"There are a few problems with that plan but overall it's good. We can now begin to work on it. Other than that, is anything happening?" She asked.
"The girls are starting elementary school next week Thursday. Don't ask me why it on Thursday, because I don't know." I replied.
"Elementary school, already? My babies are growing up so fast! I can't wait to be with them again!" Eva said.
"You will be with them soon, I promise you that." I told her, ruffling her blonde locks.
