My first impulse was to grab the girls and run- so I did. As much as I wanted to check if Michael was okay, I needed to protect his daughters instead. If anything happened to him, I don't know what I would do. Everyone needs him - his daughters, his baby momma, his business, even me.

I put Apollo on my hip and took Alannis's little hand in mine and ran towards the back entrance. The car was already pulled out back, so I put the girls in. Just as I was about to get into the car, I was interrupted.

"Maleah!" Someone called out.

I turned around to see Michael, short of breath but not shot. I ran up to him a gave him a huge hug.

"I thought they hit you!" I said, squeezing him.

"They fired towards me but I'm ok. I've got a squad team trying to evacuate the building now but it's extremely difficult." He told me.

"Why?" I curiously asked.

"Ted has raided R.Dynasty. He has taken control of the whole building. He had locked pretty much every entrance and exit- I'll be surprised if you get back in." He told me.

"Why are Ted and Maurice doing this? We did something wrong but they done something wrong too. Come on, I'm taking the girls to my grandmas." I told him, grasping his hand and trying to pull him towards the car.

"I'm not coming." He began. I stopped in my tracks and faced him.

"You're their biggest target besides me! Why on earth are you going to put yourself in danger?" I questioned him.

"Maleah, this building is mine. It is my everything. I can't just leave it. There are innocent people in there, who need protection. I can't leave them. I will be fine. I will make sure that we have maximum security and all that. But I need you to do me a favour." He said to me stroking my hair. I nodded yes, wanting him to continue.

"Take the girls to someone who you think that will be safe and unfound. That is my biggest priority. Then, this part won't be as easy. You need to find Eva and save her. Look at the video and really look at it."

"Do you recognise this place at all?" He asked me. I watched the video again and found myself in disbelief. I couldn't believe that I knew where she is.

"That's Ted's drug den! I know exactly where that is. I'll get her after I get the girls." I told him.

"Be safe, Maleah. This is a dangerous game that we are playing and I don't want you to get hurt." He said to me.

Tears started to slowly stream down my face as I grew scared of the future- who knows what could happen tonight. I have five lives in my hands currently: the twins, my own, my unborn baby and Eva's.

"Please don't die. I need you. Hell, even this baby needs you. Just be safe and don't do anything stupid."'I warned him, giving him the grip of life.

"Ain't nobody dying today. I promise you that I will not die, and I will be in your life for a long ass time. Don't worry about me Leah, you've got enough on your plate. Just know that I'll be fine." He told me.

"Michael?" I asked him.

"Whats wrong, do you need anything?" He asked.

"I'll marry you." I told him, looking him dead in the eye.

"Seriously? You'll do it?" He asked in disbelief.

"I love you, so of course I will." I told him, hoping he would say it back.

"I lo- don't worry. But I will be the happiest man on earth if I get to marry you." He said. For a moment I thought he was going to say 'I love you',but I guess that near death experiences and agreement to marriage can't even make you say shit.

"Michael, take care of yourself. Don't be irrational, be safe- for me." I told him.

He nodded his head yes and gave me a huge kiss.

He then opened the car door and got the girls out of the car. He gave both of them a hug and a kiss.

"No matter what happens, I will always love you two. Now hop in the car and put your seatbelt's on. I'll see you soon." He said.

The girls got back into the car and put on heir seatbelt's. I gave Michael a hug and walked to the other side of the car.

I hopped into the car and told the drivers my grandmothers address. I could feel my nerves growing by the second. I didn't even know his baby mother, so why should I even help her? Plus, this is extremely dangerous considering that I'm pregnant. It was selfish of Michael to ask me to do this.

After about thirty minutes, we pulled up to my grandmothers home. I unstrapped the girls and led them into my grandmothers home. Luckily, her door was open, so we walked straight in.

To my surprise, my whole family where there. Everyone was smiling and having a good time, until they saw me. The laughter halted and the smiles dropped. After I was raped, my family made no effort to look after me, apart from my grandmother. I told them that I didn't want anything to do with them, and they didn't seem to care.

"Maleah, what are you doing here sweetheart? And who are these two lovely girls? They look familiar." My grandmother asked me.

"Theses are Michaels, my fiancé, daughters." I told her, hoping that my family would hear.

"Your engaged? What happened to Maurice?" My father asked.

"Are you serious?" I yelled at my father but decided to hold my horses. It would not be responsible or write if I argued in front of the girls.

"Grandma, please look after the girls tonight. I have serious business to handle and it isn't the right environment for the girls. I'll try to pick them up tomorrow morning." I told her.

"Sure, I love children. Now run along, I've got this handled." She told me, giving me a kiss on the cheek. I let go of the girls hands and crouched down to their level.

"Be good girls for my grandma, she's getting old. You can call her Mary Jo. I'll be back as soon as possible. I love you two. Now give me a kiss." I told them, pouting my lips.

They both gave me a kiss. I then walked out of my grandmothers house and hopped into the car.

"Do you remember where Ted's warehouse is?" I asked my driver.

He nodded yes, and began to pull off.

Gurlllll, the finale is next! It's split into two parts. You guys are going to freak out when you read this! I literally died when I came up with the plot lol!! Y'all are going to love me and hate me at the same damn time 😂😂🎉

Side note: I am ending the book in a certain way for the best storyline, so I suggest that you prepare yourself. Also next chapter a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE secret will be revealed about a certain male in the book... Maybe if you reread the game changer{hint hint*} you may be able to guess it😉
