I had just finished breastfeeding Daniel so he was sitting back in his crib at Mario's side of the bed. I pick up Thomas who hasn't slept in what feels like weeks; therefore I hadn't slept for weeks.
He was giggling loudly while I could hear Daniel shifting about in his bed.
"You really are living up to the name." I whisper before he starts to suck.
"Are you okay Lia?" Mario asks from outside the room.
"Yeah. What time is it?"
"It's half past eleven. Everyone will be here in around half an hour."
"Okay I'll be done in a few minutes." I shout as I lean my head back on the headboard. I've never been so tired in my whole life. Just as I get comfortable; I hear Daniel start to cry loudly.
"Mario!" I shout just as he open the doors.
"I'll put on the baby carrier." He smiles before lifting up Daniel into the carrier.
Thomas finishes quickly so I fix myself and then carry him out to the living room.
"You look beautiful." Mario says kissing my lips quickly. We sit with the boys and watch them roll about on the floor. Daniel throws his arms about with a laugh while Thomas bends his legs up to his mouth.
"They're both going to be footballers." Mario states making me shake my head.
"No way, the way Thomas is bending- he could definitely be a dancer." I say and cuddle into his side.
"Well it'll be up to them. But I'm going to teach them everything I know about football." Mario kisses my cheek just as the door knocks.
Before I can get up, Marco and my family and Mario's all run in with a wide smile.
"Let me see them!" Marco shouts before running to the floor and playing with Daniel.
It was international break this week so most of the German players were here in Munich.
"They're beautiful." Astrid smiles and gives me a big hug.
"Thank you, but it's not all me. Your son had a big part in it." I smile just as Erika and Herman walk through the door.
"Erika!" I shout and run into her arms. She squeezes me in a big hug making me groan. "Careful, my nipples are sore." I whisper making her laugh loudly.
"I missed you so much." She smiles. I then give Herman a big hug before bringing them over to meet Thomas and Daniel.
"Oh my gosh, they're both so cute." She smiles wide before playing with Thomas' fingers while Mario bounced him in his arms.
"Does anyone want tea or coffee?" I ask and count how many people want tea and coffee. While I make the tea, I watch Mario talk to my parents while handing Thomas over to my mom. Happiness overwhelms me when I see them talking together. Mario makes me feel so loved and cherished.
"Where is my little mini Thomas?" I hear a voice shout and then run to the door where Thomas is running in with Lisa trailing behind him. Her pregnant belly slightly showing now.
"He's with my mom." I say making his eyes widen.
"Hi." Lisa says giving me a big hug.
"You look amazing." I say while giving her a big hug before touching her bump.
"So do you! Now let me go and see your beautiful baby boys." Lisa smiles and walks towards my mom.
I gave out the tea and coffee just as the rest of the German National Team swarm in through the door. Jurgen even flew in from Liverpool to see the boys.
