"Hold on to your salah, because if you lose it, you lose everything." - Umar ibn Khattab (r.a.)
Think of the five daily prayers as meetings with your Lord. Do you want to show up late at the meeting? Do you want to miss it? We usually fear arriving late or missing a business interview, but what about the interview with the One who created you?
If prayer time ends, it's never coming back, my dear sisters. So when you hear Athan, think of praying right away, don't delay it. Prayer brings inner peace, I swear to you if you knew all the reward you get for prayer, you'd be astonished.
Take salah as an occasion to thank Allah for all the blessings He gave you, and to repent for the sins you've done, and to ask Allah for what you want.
Check out the video above the title where Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan is explaining the importance of salah.
Dear sister, you should try to read Ayatul Kursi after Salah.Allahu la ilaha illa howa al hayyul kayyoom. La ta'khuthu hu sinatun wala nawm. Lahu ma fis samawati wa ma fil ard. Manthal lathi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi ithnih. Yaalamu ma bayna aydihim wa ma khalfahum. Wala yuhituna bishay'in min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'. Wasi'a kursiyuhus samawati wal ardh. Wala ya uduhu hif dhuhuma. Wa howal aliyul atheem.
Please don't neglect your Salah, it's the first thing you will be asked about on the Day of Judgement.Asalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh :)
