"Great day at work, Abraham." Speed shook Abe's hand as he walked out the door.

Abe thanked him and closed the door behind Speed. He waited a few seconds before throwing his apron down on the floor and running up to his room. He grabbed Henry's letter finally being able to read the rest of it as he put on his coat, grabbed his ax, his hat, and an extra knife.

But don't forget, the letter read. Always have a contingency plan.

The sound of thunder rumbled and flashes of lightning lit up the sky as Abe walked towards the pharmacy slowly. He did a quick glance inside before walking through the door. He walked past the front desk towards the back where he heard crunching noises.

"Aaron Stibel, Junior?" Abe asked as he found an older man.

The old man glanced up with his eyebrows furrowed, "Yes?"

Abe narrowed his eyes as his right hand creeped into his inner coat to grab his ax. Stibel saw his hand move into his jacket then quickly snarled showing his fangs. Abe quickly grabbed his ax and raised it above his head in an attempt to swing it at the vampire. Stibel grabbed powder and shoved it into his face causing Abe to back up. Abe tried a second attempt, but the vampire threw him back forcing him into a shelf. Stibel grabbed a lever close by and pulled it down. A trap door beneath Abe opened and a rope closed around his ankles causing him to be hung upside down.

Abe heard the trap door close then looked around. He blinked as he saw other bodies hanging upside down exactly like him with a bowl beneath them catching their blood. He looked up finally finding his ax and attempted to reach for it. Stibel appeared and kicked his ax away then tied Abe's hands behind his back as he mumbled things. He pulled out a razor and a bowl gently placing the bowl beneath Abe.

"Don't worry," Stibel said as he slowly stood up straight. "It'll only hurt for a second or two. Did you eat today?"

Abe continued to struggle and as he did his knife fell from his pants. He caught it in his mouth then cut Stibel in the neck. Stibel gasped and grabbed his neck as blood started flowing out of the cut. Abe, with the knife still in his mouth, swung up and cut the rope from around his legs. As he fell on his back he used the same knife to cut his hands free before gabbing his ax and cutting Stibel's head off. He closed his eyes as blood was splashed onto his face then slowly wiped it from his eyes. Wiping his face again with his sleeve for good measure.

Abe started putting the dirt back into the hole which held Aaron Stibel, Junior. He took a deep breath and he glanced around the woods as he took his hat off.

I had killed a monster. And I would kill again. But no amount of death could make me forget.
