It's Complicated

CHAPTER 11

-Nicole's POV-

It has been six days since I moved in. I made the house look brighter and less depressing. We have a while stack of movies. We watch at least one movie every night together. We have gotten used to cooking together every night. But tomorrow we meet my parents and we are both too nervous to even eat. We go to bed and wait for the next morning.

-the next morning-

-Zayn's POV-

I can't believe that we are going to meet her family. She said that it was going to be a big party at her aunts house. She also told me just to wear a t-shirt and jeans because it's not a formal party. Her family aparently likes to party. And just my luck it was a pool party. Crap. Nicole said that we would stay at the shallow end so I guess it will be ok. We were both running around the bathroom all morning even though the dress code was simple and Nicole didn't need make up and there was no point into really doing my hair.
When we were all ready she grabbed a bag that had our swim suits in it.
"Duckota is coming with us"she said simply.
When we finally got in the car I was freaking out. We drove in silence except when she was telling me directions. We got there in an hour the house was huge it looked like 3 stories. We knocked on the door and we were greeted by a buff dude with swim trunks on. Nicole hugged him.
"Hi William its been a while you haven't even text me" Nicole said.
He pet Duckota and then looked at me. He was tall and buff. Who was this guy.
"Who is this"he asked her.
"Oh this is my boyfriend, Zayn. And Zayn this is my oldest brother William." she said.
He looked at me for a moment and then said,"hi Zayn how are you" he shook my hand.
"Umm I've been good" now I know how Nicole felt on that day at the pool.
We walked in. The inside of the house was beautiful but deserted. I walked outside with Nicole. She grapes my hand tightly. When we got outside there wasn't many people. Nicole ran up to an older woman and hugged her. She was shorter than Nicole.
"Mum this is my boyfriend Zayn" she said.
"I know you've told me plenty about him" Nicole's mum said.
Nicole started blushing. I reached out to shake her mom's hand but she hugged me instead. I also met Nicole's dad. And another brother that was buff like the other his name was Presley. Nicole's aunt and the family I met were the only ones here.

-Nicole's POV-

"Mum where is everyone?" I asked.
"Oh the party hasn't even started" she said.
"I'm surprised I got here so early. This cancer is ageing me" her mum laughed.
"Mum you look fine"
While we were talking Duckota decided to get a head start in the pool. I saw Zayn look at the pool. He looked scared. The pool was huge even bigger then the public pool Zayn and I met at. I decided to get my swim suit on and hang out with my brothers. We started play wrestling like we did as kids. It was so much fun I pushed Presley in the water when William pushed me in then he jumped in Zayn just watched.
"Come on in bro" William said.
Zayn looked at me I decided that we could tell my brothers that zayn can't swim.
"We can teach you" we all said at once.
Zayn got to the shallow end and came in. He put his arms around my shoulders I placed my hands on his waist. I swam to the deep end.
"Ok kick your legs" William said.
Zayn kicked me in the shin.
"Not that hard" I say.
He kicks lighter. I pull his hands off of my shoulders and put my hands on his waist and taught him how to move his hands. After that my brothers taught him the rest in an hour he knew how to swim. My brothers' girlfriends came. With their kids. The both had to kids William's girlfriend was named Monica. She had blond hair just like William. His son also had blond hair but has blue eyes like me his name was jake.
Presley's girlfriend was named Riley she has Brown hair like me and Presley and his daughter also had Brown hair her name was Lily. I climbed out of the pool and hugged my niece and nephew. They went swimming and then went out for a while to eat so Zayn, my brothers,their girlfriends,and I decide to play a pool game. I get on zayn's sholders and the girls get on my brothers shoulders. We tried to bumb each other to knock each other down. Zayn gripped my thighs too keep me on but my brothers are stronger and it's not long before we both fall in the water.
After a couple more rounds we decide to sing. My brothers and I have sang together all our lives so we decide to do the first song with only the three of us. The first song is "fight for your right" by the bestie boys.
We know the song by heart. It was a rap song and different then the actual song but it still sounds great. Zayn looked at me in amazment every time I sang.

-Zayn's POV-

They took turns singing songs together and then Nicole forced me to sing with her and we went up together. The song was "kiss you" by one direction. I knew the song obiously and Nicole knew is too. I felt sad for a moment and then started singing. It was the first time I came up to sing. Everyone was staring at me. After everyone said I had a beautiful voice. Her brothers decide to come up and sing a couple of parts of the song. We sound pretty good together. After that my brothers put rock music on but we got tried of singing so we all pushed each other in the pool. Nirvana came on and Nicole sang lightly to it.
