I was walking to the mall to get some Starbucks for me and Joey when he got home, when I bumped into my ex-boyfriend Kyle.
"Oh hey Daniel." He said with a sly smirk plastered on his face. "Just met your new boyfriend Joey. Or should I say new Target. He said laughing.
"One, Joey isn't a Target he is my actual boyfriend. Two how did you know about him?" I asked nervously.
"Well I bumped into him when I was walking past famous footwear. Oh yah and Scott also told me."
That fucking bastard
"What did you do to my Joey?" I asked starting to get rather annoyed.
"Oh nothing." He said with a smirk. "I just gave him my phone number. Told him we should keep in contact." He said letting out a chuckle.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!!"
"Because I knew he was your weakness. I knew that by stealing him from you, I would be able to slowly break y-" SMACK! I gave him a hard hit to the jaw, trying to keep the tears in. I threw him another punch. "THAT'S FOR TRYING TO TAKE ME JOEY FROM ME!" I said harshly tears immediately falling from my face. I took off in sprint, it slowly turning into a jog.

I was running and running, when I heard a faint voice calling my name from behind me.
"Daniel! Slow down! Please!" It was Joey. I slowed down to a stop, and sat down on a bench.
"Daniel! I was sitting at starbucks and I saw you run by with tears running down your cheeks. What's going on."
"I ran into my ex-boyfriend Kyle." I pause wiping my eyes. "and I heard you did too." I said squeaking..
"Yah I did, I was walking out of famous footwear with matching nike sneakers for you and me and I walked into him. He told me he liked my smile, and then gave me his phone number and told me to keep in touch with him. I didn't know he was your ex-boyfriend Daniel. I'm sorry."
"It's okay, I just don't want you to be around him because he can become very violent when he doesn't get what he wants. Just please promise me you will stay safe."
"I promise Dan." He says looking up and smiling at me.
"I love you Joey."
"I love you too Daniel."
