Chapter 16

Jessie's POV

"Ugh"

I groaned rolling sideways while holding my head. I looked around the room noticing I'm back at my pack house, Coles pack house. I looked around confused. What?!

I stood up and instantly I regretted it. I wobbled a little and held myself up using my dresser that's beside my bed.

I went inside my en suite and saw a monster staring right back at me. My eyes went wide when I realized that's actually me.

I continued staring at myself in the mirror. I cant remember anything that happened. I just stare at myself curiously.

*knock knock*

"Jessie are you alright?!" A worried voice sounds out from behind my bedroom door. I opened the door to see a very worried Payton.

"Why won't I be alright? What happened anyways?" I asked Payton confused.

"You don't remember?"

"Uhm no that's why I'm asking," I say sarcasm thick in my words. Payton just raises her hands in surrender, while I raise one of my eyebrows.

"Damien got Liya pregnant," she says with a cautious voice.

I digest the words she just said. Damien? Liya?

"What?"

She looks at me confused and says it again slower this time. "Damien got Liya pregnant."

"Who's Damien?" I ask with a confused expression. She gives me a baffled look.

"Are you serious right now?" She asks me while having her hands on her hips. "Now is not the time to joke around Jessie" she says looking at me right at the eye.

"I'm not joking, who is he?" I ask with all the seriousness that I have.

"Omygosh I need to tell this to Cole" she mumbles to herself.

"Uhm alright then?" I say very confused right now.

We walk to Coles office and knock once  when we got there.

"Come in,"

We walked inside his office and had a seat at the chairs infront of him. "So what did you guys want?" He asked. When we looked at him we saw he had baby Mia on his lap while doing his work. I had to resist an 'aw'.

Payton speaks up "Jessie doesn't remember anything that happened for the last three weeks"

"What!" Cole says with a shocked look on his face.

"And she doesn't remember who Damien and Liya are"

"Are you sure Payton?"

"Positive"

Cole then turns to face me. I look at him with a blank look on my face. He continues to stare at me with this calculating look.

"Jessie."

"Cole."

"Who do you think Damien is in your life?"  He stares at me as he says this.

"Most probably someone not important because I don't remember him, and this Liya chick" I shrugged while saying this.

Cole and Payton look at each other with a look. They're probably mind linking.

"Jessie have you talked to your wolf," I shook my head no. "Can you try talking to your wolf right now." I nod my head yes and tried to talk to her.

"Wolfie?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you know who Damien is?"

"Yes but he's not important in our lives so I deleted all of our memories with him."

"Oh alright then, bye wolfie" I say to my wolf then I went back to reality.

When I looked at Cole and Payton they were both looking at me with an eyebrow raised each, while Mia is sleeping soundly on Coles lap, her head lolling to the side. Is that drool I see?

I looked back at Cole with an eyebrow of my own raised. "What?"

"So what did your wolf say?" Payton asks me. "Did you ask her about who Damien is?"

"Yes I did ask her,"

"So what did she say?" Cole asks

"She said she deleted all of my memories with him because he's not important in our lives." I said to them.

"Oh"

"Oh?"

"Yeah, oh"

Payton and Cole look at each other and whisper "shit" while I was just there looking like a potato.

"Shit!" A baby voice says and all of us went to look at Mia to see she's fully awake and bouncing on Coles lap while saying shit over and over again.

All of us look at each other and have one thought in our mind.

We're so dead to Maria.
