I honestly didn't even recognize him. He has a mustache now, rather than his bare face he had almost three years ago.
"I didn't even recognize you. Hello, Drake."
"I know. The mustache." He chuckled deeply.
There was something off about Drake this time. He seemed nervous but I shook it off.
"Well what are you doing in L.A?" Nicki asked him as she handed me the basket to put my boots in.
"To see you, honestly. To see if you were willing to do what I told you." He said in secrecy. "Also, I wrote a song that I want you to jump on when you get a chance. It's a little something for my new album."
"Oh! Really? Just let me know what's up and I'll be at the studio."
"Alright, Boo. I'll get in touch as soon as I can about it."

He hugged her before hugging me a little too tightly than any other hug he gives me.
"See you two later and Nicki don't forget what we discussed."

After he walked away, Nicki let out a breath I'm sure she was holding onto for a while and turned to me.
"Come on, Boo. Let me go and buy these so that we can get going. We still have a lot to do today." She said and went to buy our things.

We've been all over Los Angeles getting ready for the trip. Yes, I said trip.
Since Jade's school has their annual No-School week, I am taking her somewhere special to break some very important news.
She's been asking questions but I just can't seem to answer any of them yet.

She burst into laughter before disappearing. I finished placing my luggage near my door and taking out my bath things.
I took a shower, got dressed, and went to take my luggage to the airport's car that they are letting me use to drive to the airport later on tonight.
