Chapter 7 Going Down

The day started as normal nothing more than 20 Zs. But that, that was only the morning, we still had 24 hours to defend this place. Well at least until my shift ended.

LATER THAT NIGHT

"We need all guards, to come defend now!" A guard yelled. I run up to my position, and I seen the biggest hoard I've ever seen. All you could see outside the walls was Zs just pouring out of the walls, coming straight for us. They eventually reached the walls, I hate to say it but these walls weren't gonna hold much longer. Ariana and I ran, we grabbed Haley and told her we had to get out NOW. We packed up the little we had, *BOOM* the walls fell? They poured out on us like rain, I ran to the greenhouse for Thomas but, it was too late now, he laid there getting munched on by them. I grabbed food out of there and ran to the F-450 with 20 gallons of water, a full tank and few gallons extra, and enough food to last Haley, Ariana, and I to last a year. I hopped in as Ariana punched it, we decided to go East, Haley said she had family out there with boats. She explained, in detail, a plan that her family left her a yacht in case she wanted to sail. I looked back to see walkers where once was a small community.
