We still had about 4 hours before we reached Miami, so we refilled the tank of gas, and headed out. It seemed like just yesterday everything was normal.
*bullet whistles*
"Lance!" My papa yelled.
"Yes, sir?" I replied.
"If your gonna shoot dat gun, at least go in the backyard."
"Okay, ill go now."
"Okay, now where was I?" I thought out loud.
"Of course, reloading."...
"Haley! Please, when the maid comes, tell her I want the house shining by the time we come back, okay?"
"Will do, dad, so how long you and mom going out tonight for?"
"Just until around, eleven or so."
"Okay, see you guys later, then."...
"Ariana, can you start dinner for me, I'm going to be late for work."
"What you had in mind?"
"Anything that will be done within the next thirty minutes. Any ideas?"
"Hmm, maybe some grilled cheese and chicken sandwiches? There fast, easy, and not too expensive."
"That will be great!"...
"Come on traffic! I have five minutes to get to the hospital!
"Nurse, they need you in bay two!"
"Okay, doctor, what's up?"
"No time to explain Katie, just hold him down please."
"Won't that drug knock him out?"
"That's the point, he won't stop moving! And we need to admit him into the hospital, and outta ER, now."...
We all shared our stories of what we were doing, when everything happened. So different, yet fate had brought us together somehow. We had only about an hour before we reached Miami, when of course, we ran into another problem...
