I looked back, bad mistake, behind me and the girl was a swarm. At least 50 strong, trudging towards us.
"START THE TRUCK" I yelled as loud as I could.
Ariana and Haley got the front, while I interrogated the girl in the back.
"My name is Katie, I've been held up in that building, since the start."
"Okay, that's a starting point, are you any good with weapons though?"
"I've never shot a gun before, but give me any melee weapon, and I can fight."
"Any medical experience?"
"Well actually, I was a nurse before everything happened."
Wow a nurse, 2 weapon experts, and someone with plans for escape! Things are looking up.
We kept traveling East, we would be in the West side of Florida by morning. We took shifts driving, and I was last shift, so I slept. It was about 5 when I woke up, at that point we were about to get into Florida, Haley was driving, and it was now my turn. I drove us into Florida, but we stopped to make camp, and really rest up.
