Chapter 39

"Daddy!" I heard Ariana squeal upstairs as I finished the dishes. I could hear her laughing and I walked upstairs and went into her room. 

"What are you guys laughing about." I beamed.

"Nothing..." Ariana said. I laughed. I knew she wasn't going to tell me anything. 

"Okay." I said kissing her head before walking out. I heard them whispering again. I laughed silently and went to see what Cooper was doing.

"Hey baby." I said patting his head. 

"Mommy!" He squealed. 

"Hey Cooper." I said picking him up. He laid his head on his shoulder 

"You tired?" I whispered. He nodded.

"Okay." I said bringing him upstairs to his room. I laid him down and kissed him on the head before leaving the room. 

"Hey baby." Ian said grabbing my waist and pulling me in for a kiss. I giggled. 

"Hey." I smiled and looked at him. 

"I have an idea." He said. 

"What is it?" I asked curiously. 

"It's a surprise." He smirked.

"What?" I scoffed.

"Don't worry. I will tell you later when the kids are in bed." Ian said winking. 

"Okay..." I said as he planted a kiss on my head. I wonder what it could be...

"Lucy." I heard Ian say. 

"Yeah?" I said as I was watching T.V. 

"It's time for your surprise." He smiled and I perked up. 

"What?" I almost yelled and he laughed. 

"Here." He said giving me a box.

"What is this?" I asked.

"Just open it." He said.

"Okay." I smiled and opened the box. There I found a ring. 

"What? We're already married." I laughed.

"I want to renew our vows." I said kneeling down next to my knee. 

"Of course. I would love to!" I said bringing my arms around his neck and hugging him.

"That's good." He said into my neck. 

"I love you." I said burying my head into his neck. 

"Me too." He said rubbing my back slowly. 

We were like that for what seemed like forever but I didn't mind. I was in the arms of the person I love and will always love him.
