Chapter 11

I woke up the next day exhausted. I rolled over to the other side of the bed and found that Ian wasn't there anymore and a note was left on his side of the bed.
" I left to go to work. Eat something please." I frowned. What day was it anyway? I opened my phone and found it was Monday. I sighed and got out of bed. I checked to see if the kids were still asleep, which they were, before going downstairs. I decided that I wasn't hungry and sat down on the couch to watch T.V. As time passed I started to get more and more hungry. I couldn't eat. I decided to busy myself by getting ready for the day. Ariana came in my room a little after 9:30.
"Hi Mommy!" She said hugging me.
"Hi sweetheart!" I said giving her a kiss on her head. She laughed before saying she was going downstairs. I got ready and walked downstairs to see that Cooper was awake as well.
"Can I go play with my friends tonight?" She asked.
"Yes you can." I responded to her.
"Yay!" She said before turning her attention to the show on the television.
"Remember though, we have to go take Cooper to the doctors today." I said to her.
"Ya, I know." She said.
"Get ready please." I asked her nicely. She nodded her head before running upstairs to get ready. I had both the kids ready and we went to Coopers doctors appointment. I wasn't expecting anything to happen. We haven't got any answers to his problem since he was born. As I suspected they found nothing wrong so I took them out for lunch. They ate their chicken nuggets while I had a bottle of water. I can't eat, I told myself. Once they were done, we drove back home. Only 3 more hours until Ian comes home. I sent him a text that I was taking Ariana over to Troian and Keegan's house to sleep over. We arrived in about 15 minutes.
"Hi Troian!" I said giving her a hug.
"Hey! How are you?" She said.
"Great! Always tired but oh well!" I laughed.
"I know!" She laughed with me. We talked for at least 30 minutes when I decided it was time to go home. Cooper and I drove back home to see Ian watching TV.
"Hey! Do you want dinner?" He asked giving me a kiss.
"Oh thanks! But I ate at Troian's. We had pizza." I lied to him.
"Alright. How was it?" He asked me.
"Oh it was good!" I said.
" Should I make Cooper dinner?" He asked me.
"Yes. He decided that he didn't want pizza. Such a picky eater." I laughed at him.
"Alright, I'll fix him something." He said turning around toward the kitchen. Hopefully Ian didn't notice me lying right through my teeth.
" Oh by the way, my ultrasound is tonight at 5 so just letting you know!" I yelled into the kitchen. I heard a faint okay. Cooper was fed and we were all ready to go to the ultrasound. We decided to keep the gender a surprise for the both of them. Cooper obviously wouldn't know what was going on, so this will be pretty easy.

I hopped on to the table and let the lady put the gel on my belly. Cooper was on the ground playing with some toys that the nurse gave him. Ian held my hand as she was looking around.
"Well, it looks like it's a boy!" She said to us. I smiled and a few tears fell down my cheeks. These weren't sad tears but tears of joy. I got cleaned up before we left the office.
"Oh my gosh. We're having a boy!" I said hugging Ian.
"I know!" He said burying his head into my shoulder. I laughed before jumping in the car with Ian and Cooper in it. I just knew that nothing could stop this from being wonderful!

Heyy! Okay so last week was finals. Now I'm on Christmas break!!! Yay! So now you know the gender! It's a boy! I thought that another boy would be adorable! I just saw all these baby photos of my brother when he was little and I fell in love with baby boys! 😍
