I remember what happened as if it were yesterday and not two years ago. I'm sure you know what I mean... Back when practically everything happened? You know what? I was ready to just... be a normal kid for once, none of this should have happened to me, but that's not how life goes, is it? You never get what you expect, or what you want in my case. Well, let me catch you up on what has happened..
I came to Chance Harbor for my grandmother, since my mother died. It was hard, but soon after I found Adam and Diana. I love them and they loved eah other, that was... Until I came to town, and believe me I feel guilty about what went down, but what is one girl, -er witch-, suppose to do about love's affair? Nothing, that's what. Apparently Adam and I, were 'written in the stars' so Adam couldn't be with Diana and I know that just broke both of their hearts, and I wish I could take something back... Fast forward, a lot of things happened and then... Adam and I fell in love, and we were perfect for each other...
All but one, little problem, the Blake's and the Conant's were cursed. We couldn't be together unless one of our members in our cirle, -in our case, Jake-, died. But, we saved him by forgetting our feelings for each other by drinking a potion my father, Jon Blackwell made. The rest of what happened isn't very important besides a couple facts. Diana left with her Aussie boyfriend, and has been gone for two whole years, and Faye began to date Jake, Melissa found a new hobby but kept in touch with Faye, and I started to work for Adam's dad, Ethan, oh and my dad is dead...
Ever since Diana left, we've all been separated...

I sat up in my bed with my hair a complete mess, but I didn't care. I got up and walked to my dresser, pulling out a clean v-cut shirt, and then noticed movement in the Armstrong house. I peered over my shoulder more and just saw Faye walking across the floor with a grin. She looked my way, and we looked at each other for a moment, and then she closed my curtains with a flick of her wrist. I did nothing. I just looked down to my hands and sighed softly. Deeply, I was truly wishing Diana would come back to bring us all together, but then on a second thought... Maybe that wouldn't be so good... I got dressed and walked down stairs. Grabbing my purse, I began to walk to the boathouse.
Once I was there, I was instantly greeted by Ethan.
"Oh, I am so glad you came in today. How did you sleep? Can you set up the tables?" I smiled at his rush of things. But I began my work anyway, hoping I wouldn't have to see Adam right off the bat, then I began to speak with Ethan.
"Sorry, if I'm late, I had a bad dream and was trying to cope with it the way I usually do."
The worried look I got from Ethan made my heart flutter, he is such a good dad, I wish I had a dad like him... Now, I don't have a dad at all.. I shook my head and crossed my arms over my chest, finished putting all the tables together. "Theres no need to worry, I'm fine."
As soon as I said that, Adam walked in and froze when he saw me. Our gazes locked for what seemed like forever, and then I broke away and smiled at Ethan. I brushed my hands on my pant legs, and placed them on my hips. "What else can I help you with, Mr. Conant?" I think Ethan was a little hurt that I called him by his title... He looked down and shook his head, telling me I can go to school, but be back afterwards.
Still affected by the potion, Adam smiled at me. "I'd be willing to drive you, since I noticed you forgot your car today." I said nothing, but followed him out to his jeep. I got into his jeep, and put the seat belt on, bringing my purse into my lap, and saying nothing. "Cassie, is everything alright? You know I worry about you." It was true... He always worried about me, and I gave him a soft smile.
"You don't need to worry about me right now... I'm perfectly fine." Adam gave the look which meant he didn't believe me but I looked away and he nodded his head, and peered down to the ground. I wanted to tell him, right then and there, that the potion didn't work, that I still loved him with all my heart. That I always thought about him... And that he was my world, but the only thing that came from my lips was: "Bye." Then I jumped out of his jeep, and rushed inside, so that my heart wouldn't explode in my chest.
Once I got inside, Ms. Chamberlain, Faye's mother came to see me, she looked a little surprised. But then before I could say anything she looked to me, and most likely saw my hidden emotions and sighed. "Cassie, I need to tell you something important..." She sounded eager, so I followed her into her office, and tilted my head, sitting in the seat in front of her desk.
"What is it, Ms. Chamberlain?"
She looked down a bit, then back up and said it simply. "There is no curse on the Blake's and Conant's, your father just wanted you and Adam to break up."
What?
Did I just hear her right?
You're meaning to say that he caused me all that heart break for NOTHING?! Suddenly the lights began to flicker, and I shook my head.
"I have to go. I have to go find Adam.."
And then I left.
