Chapter 9
I yawned as I sat up from my bed to see the sunlight shining on me from the window. I stopped my alarm clock on my left bed-side table and checked the time. It was just 6:45 AM. Suddenly, I heard my ring tone for messages. I thought of Harry and if he texted. A sudden giddy feeling came to me.
I stretched my arm to the left and grabbed my phone off the side table and saw it was filled with loads and loads of texts from school and my batch mates. Aw... not a single one from him.
Anyways, they texted me that classes were cancelled due to the heavy fall of snow from last night.
It was snowing?
No wonder Kat wasn't able to come home...
So what can I do now? Can life get any more boring than this? Hope so, hope not.
There so much activities to do at a very dull day. But the fun can never go as far as Phineas And Ferb's. Oh how I love their TV show... but a really sad background of the series. You'll know more once you research.
About hoping not, it will really get so boring that time flies- well- so fast. Don't you just realize that? It's true though.
For example, you read your favorite -or not, maybe just out of boredom- book, all alone inside your room while snow falls heavily on your neighborhood outside. After a while, you open the windows, then wow, it's dark. Then you check your watch, 7:30 PM. See what I mean? I know I hate it.
And so, I don't feel like I want to read a book today. As much as I want to know what happens to the current book I'm reading now, I don't want time to fly fast. I want to enjoy and realize that today wont be a stressful day, studying will be too tiring. Well that's obvious.
Then, an instant thought came up to my mind. To finish off from where we started last night- or should I say, a while ago. Maybe we can last the whole day- really, I want too- but stop when some important thing comes.
I opened my phone using my passcode and tapped the 'Message' app on the first slide of the screen. I scanned through my past messages with other contacts and found his.
Hey Hazz, Skype with me? I'm so bored right now. Fudge the snow. Thanks <3 -from your somewhat BFF.
I know, I'm childish when I text. Calling him 'BFF' sounds... nah, screw it. I am my own person, and no one judges from that point.
I sit on the edge of my bed and I put on some fluffy slippers. I got my MacBook Air out of the study in my room and headed towards the door.
While unlocking the knob, I heard the telephone ring all the way from the living room. I ran to towards the sofa and dropped my laptop there and made my way to the telephone.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey roomie, it's Kat." she replied.
"So you're staying at Harry's huh? Oh and, you haven't told me his last name yet. So we can tell which Harry we are talking about. My Harry or yours." Oh crud, I said 'My Harry'. Poop, she might think of-
"His last name is Dylans. And you said 'My Harry'..." Ok, so she noticed it. So, don't panic that mu-
"OMG, my little roomie Aria, has a crush!" No-no not that! I'm in deep trouble.
As I heard Kat scream at the other end of the phone to her Harry Dylans, 'my little sis has a crush babe!', I feel as red as a tomato. I decide to defend to that.
