Chapter 14: "It's a double rainbow, all the way!"

A/N- Still not free, but do not fret! Only six more hour till I leave the hospital! (It's nine in the morning, and I'm writing this)

Nicole's P.O.V

We slowly pulled apart, not wanting to, more like HAVING to. There was a loud knock on the door.

We both grunt and go to see who it is. Guess who?

Steven! Oh joy! My life is complete! Note the sarcasm...

"Kevin!" he shouts and runs over to hug him. "Steven!" Kevin shouts back.

"I'm going for a walk..." I grumble, instantly regretting that I allowed Steven to stay there. I was already dressed so, why not?

A good-ol' trip to GameStop ought'a cheer me up! I was already outside the house, I'm not sure if they even realized that I left! Stupid Steven...

It was a good fifteen minute walk from there to here. So I took my time, knowing it'd be a while till I go back.

Unknown P.O.V

I paced in my bedroom, twirling a lock of my black hair. 'Why me?! Why now!'

Could this situation POSSIBLY get any more worse?!

My parents were coming to visit me, after they fricken abandoned me! I don't wanna see them! I don't! After the crap they put me through?! Hell naw!

They always put partying first, they never focused a drop of attention on me, unless I did something wrong, which to them, was Most of 'My pathetically useless life' the time.

God I wish I wasn't their daughter! Why is life so fuckin complicated!?

I retread the letter that my mother sent again.

Dear Ashley N. W,

Hello sweetie! It's me, your beloved mother! The one who has cared for you and your well being since you were born! I just wanted to say that, me and your father will be coming to visit you! By the time you read this letter, we will be a day or two away from seeing you! I can't wait to see you again! And I can't wait for you to rePAY me for all those years of care!

I knew what she meant by 'Repay' her. She wanted cash, for obvious reasons. I don't feel comfortable reading, let alone HOLDING this letter.

I wish there was a way to get away, from all of this. I grabbed my phone and dialed a number that I haven't used in a while.

"Hello?"

"Oh. Heya! What's up?" his voice slightly squeaked

"Can I come over?"

"How long?"

"A while."

I heard a stressed sigh. "Fine, just don't cause the boys trouble."

I fake a gasp. "Jordan! Me? Trouble? Never!"

He chuckles. "The creature house is your house, my friend." with that he hung up.

Nicole's P.O.V

After thirty minutes of looking around I finally got the game I wanted. (I don't have any idea on what game I should write, for the lack of my knowledge. So here goes nothing!) Cooking Mama! I haven't played it before, so I wanna play it now.

I made it to the check out, and the guy there couldn't keep his eyes off me...Perv.

"Hey, aren't you a bit too pretty to be at a place like this?" he asks

"You got a problem with it?!" I retort

"Hehe. Your even more pretty when your pissed..." this fuckin sicko...

I pay for the game and bolted out of there, that kid almost...licked my finger...sicko...

I decided to jog to the nearest Starbucks. Once I entered, the smell of coffee was strewn about the room. Different aromas everywhere. I walks up to the lady behind the counted.

She flashed me a friendly smile, "What can I getcha?" she asked in a thick Canadian accent.

"Ah, yes. I'll have a large vanilla foam frapachino, and four chocolate chip muffins please?"

"Alright! That'll be ready in just a few minutes. Here's your ticket, when we announce your number, come and get it, alright?"

I nod and take the ticket as she turns her back, and tells the people in the kitchen my order. I sat down at a seat close to the corner of the room, but with a window.

My phone rang, I answered.

"Oh thank god you answered! Where are you?!" he panicked

"Starbucks" I simply reply

"Why'd you leave?!"

"You and Steven needed bonding time, and I wanted coffee."

I hear a relived sigh. "Alright, but I expect you home in less than an hour!"

"Yeah yeah! Whatever" I hung up.

"NUMBER 34? Will number 34 please come get their order?" the lady boomed. I check my ticket. '34'. I stood up and walked to her.

I handed her the amount of money and the ticket, before I walked out.

I held a muffin in one hand, my coffee in the other, and everything else was in my bag. I just finished eating my muffin, and my coffee was practically done too.

Just then, it started to rain. Which is fuckin perfect! I love rain! No sarcasm intended.

The rain wasn't pelting down on me, which made it more enjo-crap.

I spoke too soon. It started POURING buckets. My first reaction was to run, but I got a call from Kevin.

"He-Hello?" I stuttered due to the fact that I'm soaking wet and it's almost the beginning of December.

"Oh my god. It's pouring outside, where are you?!" he panics.

"Kevin, calm down. I'm like half a block away from the house." I try to reassure him.

"Oh. Okay!" with that he hung up. Whats his deal?

A few moments late the rain dies down a tiny bit. That's when I saw a figure running my way. I walked colder to it as it ran towards me.

It seemed that the more it approached, the lighter the rain got! "Nicky!" I hear a familiar voice yell. I squint my eyes, and see...(Pretty obvious...I don't know why I'm making it dramatic) *Le dramatic music* Kevin!

"Oh. Hayyyyy there Kevin!" I chirp.

He doesn't hesitate. He goes in for a kiss. Lemme remind you, the rains still there. ;D

He picks me up off the ground, and I wrap my legs around his waist. All without breaking the kiss.

[A/N- My nurse is yelling at me...I flipped her off, and she's complaining to the other nurses. XD]

Once we pull apart the rain seems to stop. "Wow." is all I said. Kevin, still holding me, smiled and looked up, at the sky. I looked up, to where he was looking, and gasped, then looked at him. He looked at me and had a smirk on.

"IT'S A DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAYYY!" be both scream as loud as we can. "Jinx" I whisper into his ear.

A/N- So its nine thirty, and I just finished writing this. Shes giving me my laptop back in three hours, so I'm going to update from my phone again today.

Next time I ever go to the hospital, and I get HER, I will request a new nurse. I don't even think that she's a kid nurse! Mai gawd...
