The Blue Eyes

"Quinn. Quinn is my name." Is what the girl said before getting up and running out of the room and towards the woods. I got up and ran after her.

"Quinn! Quinn! wait!" i shout after her, and she stops immediately. She turns around and is in tears.

"Where are you going?" i say softly getting closer to her until all i can smell is her scent. Lavender.

"Oh Jasper. I don't know. I have no idea what is going on. I am so lost. I can barely remember anything besides walking into the woods, from then on nothing makes sense."

I knew how she felt. I once had been in this position when i found out about my father and myself being werwolf's. I don't know what it is about this girl, but she makes me feel different. i just want to hug her until everything is okay.

"It will take a long time for all of this to make sense. we have to figure out what happened. But i just need you to know one thing. My family is... you could say different. And we mean no harm. We. I will protect you with all my might. Please. Please Quinn. You need to trust me. I will not lie and i will tell you everything when the time is right. You will need to stay here for a few days until we know it is safe and that you are healed. And by the way you acted at the dinner table, Ellie isn't going to let you go any time soon."

Quinn just looked at me blankly for a moment. Then she just wrapped her arms around my shoulders and let it all out.

"What are they saying?" Tom asks me.

"Jasper just swore to protect her. The dumb idiot. What was he thinking? He cant swear to protect anyone, none of us can. We can't risk dyeing for a girl we don't even know." I am full of fury. How could he do this? He is the one that always told us not to swear anything to someone you know nothing about. She could be blue eyes for all we know. How could Ellie allow this?

Jasper and i walk back into the house and everyone looks right at me with suspicion in their eyes. I trusted Jasper. There was just something about the way that he talked to me, the way he looked at me. Even though i have not even known him for 24 hours.

"Hey Quinn." Ellie walks over and places a hand on my arm

"I think that you should get some more sleep. You still look awful. Jasper will take you up."

"Come on. This way!" He was already at the stairs

We walk up the stairs and into the room in silence, to my surprise he talks first.

"I will be back in a bit, i will go and get you some pyjamas." Jasper said and then walked down the hall.

So i guess that this is where i will be staying for the next few days. I walk around the room and sit on the bed taking it all in. I have no idea of what is going to happen over the course of the next few days, but somehow i have a feeling that i will be staying here for longer than they say, but that doesn't seem to bother me. i feel like i have known these people all my life.

"Okay so the only thing that i could find is one of my old jumpers, but i guess that will have to do for now." Jasper says as he walks into the room. He changed into a grey vest that shows off his arms really well, and some black track pants.

He tosses the jumper on my bed and walks over and takes a seat next to me.

"About what happened at the dinner table, what you saw, i don't think that you were imagining any of it. i think it was just a memory. Remember the story i told you when you woke up? all of the fairy tales that you were told when you were younger, all of the monsters that you have read about in books, they are real. You have already meet some. My brothers and i are werwolf's, we don't transform into dogs on all fours, but we do transform." This is all so confusing. Is Jasper on drugs? because this can't be true.

"You are lying. That cant be true. it is impossible." As soon as i say this His eyes flash the brightest blue i have ever seen.

His ears turn long and pointy and he starts to grow a lot of facial hair, then sharp K-nines rub on his bottom lip. I quickly run to the other side of my room. he is a fucking werwolf!

"AHH! What the hell are you?!" i scream. He moves closer and changes back.

"AHH! What the hell are you?!" Quinn screams.

I walk closer and transform back.

"It is okay. It will all be okay. I may look like a monster but i am not. You trust me remember? i am going to help you in any way possible, but you need to not be scared of us. Please." We lock eyes for a moment and something flashes in hers. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't normal. She isn't what the thinks that she is. She isn't fully human.

"I am tired. Leave me, i need some sleep." Is all she says and pushes me out of the door and slams it into my face.

I can't believe this. She is not human, and she doesn't know it. i need to talk to Ellie about this. She must know something.

"Jasper, i told you, i don't know what it means. I need to see it for myself to know." She doesn't think that i can tell when the is lying.

"Ellie. I can tell when you are lying. You know this girl. Quinn. You must of known that she was coming because you were prepared. you wouldn't take in a total stranger and even Tom and Ed know that. But you did. What is the connection?" I wish she would just tell me already. Does she not trust me? I have known her for almost 400 years!

"Jasper. It isn't so much the connection between her and I. It is the connection between her and you. I don't know exactly what it was, or what the connection is, but I saw it, and is was strong. Strong enough that it could potentially kill." Was all she said before walking away. What could this mean? What was this 'connection'? Whatever it is, it can wait till later. Right now I have got to focus on getting Quinn better.
