Her Dad got back home to his wife
"Is she there?"
"Yes"
"Are you sure it's safe there"
"Yes"
"Was this the right decision what are we going to do"
"It's a bomb shelter we put her there so if there is another earthquake she won't get hurt but for now we need to gather all the food and water we can and then we are going to go back and take her with us to..." Just then Astronauts burst through the door.
"Come with us we need to take you into space it's not safe here."
"No! our daughter ..."
"I am sorry mam some other astronaut is going to find her but there is no time" the astronaut interrupted.
"We will not leave without her!" The astronauts grabbed her and her husband they lead them to a space ship and blasted them off.
Another boom was heard and earth shook blue and purple flames engulfed the earth "Noooooooooooooooo!"Lillys mom screamed while staring down at the earth it was torn apart she cried knowing her daughter was down there dead. Why did they let the astronauts take them away without their daughter. She sobbed into her husbands chest unable to look on anymore. But for some reason her husband had faith that Lilly was alive.

Years passed nothing changed everyone stayed together in the space station when one day a meeting was called.
"As you know we have been scanning the earth for a sign of life and we have found a sign, but we don't know what it is exactly it's different not exactly plant and not exactly animal either" Lilly's father explained. What does this mean? can we go back to earth? Is it an alien? the crowd erupted in questions that no one knew the answer to.
"The earth has no trace of water yet and the atmosphere was completely torn apart so with no protection earth is completely unsuitable for life." Lilly's mom interrupted "I'm sorry for now we can't go back but we need to have faith that we will be able to eventually." Thats what you said last time. How can we trust you. What if we all die before we get back? The crowd objected "SHUT UP!" they shouted in unison."We are aware you all want to go back so do we, we had to leave our daughter behind and we are actually trying to find a way back so I don't want to hear it if you don't trust us you can do it yourselves ... exactly so let us do our job because we are doing our best!" And with that they left.
