Shot At Her First Romance

CHAPTER 6:The Date Night

Oh my gosh this is it!!!!!!
My first date....

I make sure to look extra good^^

I wear the pastel colored dress and my black Chanel high heels.
My hair looks very simple.My hair is curled at the ends...Lyla actually did this.Mom is putting on make-up on my bare face.

Oh my goshh....my first date...

It's time.

I wear my heels.And practice my smile.

"Zoe,go to the car now."Lyla says.

I sigh.

I get in the car.I look outside the window.Mom waves at me goodbye as the engine starts.

33 minutes after......
"Ma'am,andito na po tayo."the driver says.

"....."

I go out of the car and start walking towards the hotel..the 5 star hotel....

As I walk inside,I look around the hotel----the floor,the huge paintings and the chandelier.

I walk towards the counter.
"Are you checking in,ma'am?"the clerk says.

"Ugh,no.I have a....ah...date...in the rooftop."I answer,thinking that the words are right.

Oh my God...I am fidgeting...

"Ahhh....ikaw yung kadate ni sir Ashton??"the clerk says."You are lucky ma'am"she added.

"This way ma'am,to the elevator."she guides me.

I walk inside the elevator.And before the door closes I take a last glance at the lobby...

*the elevator door closes*

I sigh as I press the button to the rooftop.

My first date .....repeats in my head....My first date....Ugh!I'm fidgeting again!

My first date..........

Suddenly,the elevator door opens.I stop fidgeting.But my heart starts to beat faster!!!

Calm down,Zoe.....I say to myself,trying to calm the butterfly sanctuary in my stomach down.

I step out of the elevator.I walk in the rooftop...or should I call,a rooftop garden.

Wow.....My eyes feast on the wonderful paper lanterns hanging and on the flowers by the side.

My eyes scan this place.No table in the middle.Just a large speaker on the side.The things that only gives light to this place are the paper lanterns.

I really find this romantic.

~You set it again,my heart's emotion.Every word feels like a shooting star.~

Oh my gosh.This song...THIS SONG!!!!!

I feel electricity flows in my whole body,heat rising in my face.

I can't help but sing along.

~I'm not the edge of my emotions,watching the shadows burning in the dark.~

But before I sing the next stanza,the music suddenly stops.

I turn around to see Ashton,holding a boquet of........Lilacs???

Not Roses??

Anyhow,I like it.I smell on the Lilacs....mhhh...

"Hello,Zoe."Ashton greets me.

I smile to answer him.

One thing I notice,if there is no table,where are going to eat??

The elevator door opens....Men come in carrying a food basket,a blanket and a bottle of red wine.

So what is this ??A picnic??Whatever.Heh.

Ashton sees the frown on my face,"Why?Aren't you impressed?"he asks me.

"Oh..I appreciate all this."I answer sheepishly.

"Good then,now let us eat."he says.

The man who carries the blanket,spreads it on the ground.The other two,leaves the food basket and the bottle of wine on the blanket.

"You can go now."Ashton commands to the men.

The men make their way out of the rooftop.

So it happens that it's just me and him again.

He opens the food basket.He brings out the food out!!!
I open the lid and find carbonara.And on the other box are cupcakes.

Ugggghhh.....It's like I have a dinner at home.Mom's carbonara and Lyla's cupcakes.

That's disappointment right there.I am so vain.

Ashton takes on the carbonara with a fork(of course,cause it's weird if he uses spoon)"Here Zoe,have a taste."he offers.

So I open my mouth to eat that carbonara like a monster.

Surprise,surprise!The carbonara tastes better than mom's.Sorry mom.

Of course,I will do the same.So I take on the carbonara and offers it to him.He eats it.

There's sauce on his lips.But as I try to wipe it off,he licks it.

Eww...

Boom!!The carbonara is gone in a blink of an eye...It travels in our stomach now^^

So we munch on the cupcakes.
Surprise,surprise,surprise!These cupcakes tastes better than Lyla's!!Sorry, gal friend...

Mhh!!Delicious cupcakes!!!

Ashton suddenly sighs,
"I hate girls who act like kids."

Why did he say that?

He leans close to wipe off the icing on my lips.

"There's an icing on your lips."he says as he show me the icing that he wipes off.
