CHAPTER 11:Overthinking

I keep on telling myself.

"Mhh! This is delicious! "He exclaims, praising my mom's cooking.

"Try these."Lyla offers him the cupcakes she made.

He takes a bite.And, shing!

He smiles!

The three of them are laughing. Like, there's nothing to laugh about.

"Can I have one?? "I say, asking for a cupcake.

But, HEH?

They are still laughing.

Am I invisible??

I want to cry. I hate this. Ugggghhh.......

I sigh.

"Zoe, are you OK? "Ashton asks me.

Finally, he notices me.

"Honestly, no. "I say.

"What?! "He exclaims.

Oh my gosh, did I say no?

Holy crap.... Yes...I did...

So, I pretend to be not fine. I stand up, cover my mouth and rush to the comfort room.

OK then, pretend that I am about to vomit.

I lock the door and make sound effects. How silly...

"Braaaaoooowkkkk!!!!!"

I repeat that for like, three times.

"Zoe!!Are you alright? "Mom asks.

"Yes,mom. "I reply in a low voice and weak way...

I breathe in and out.

Then,I open the door.

"Are you pregnant? "Mom asks.

"Of course, no!!!"I say.

Ashton walks towards us,holds my face and leans his head near me.

"You OK? "He asks.

"Yeah."I say.

"Zoe, can we talk?Just the two of us? "He asks.

"Sure. "I reply in the most relaxed way possible.

JUST.THE. TWO. OF. US.

"Mom,can you leave us alone? "I ask mom.

Thankfully, she agrees.

"OK, it's the two of us. "I tell him.

He quickly pull me close to him.His eyes are gazing at me.His brown eyes are melting me once again.

He gently licks his lips.

Oh gosh,so gorgeous.

"Zoe, thanks for this wonderful time. "He says.

"Oh,you're always welcome. "I sheepishly say.

He leans his head close to me.He slowly closes his eyes then opens them.

My eyes grow big in wonder.

This gorgeous boy....

I thought.

He gently cups my right cheek.

"Your best friend is amazing. "He tells me.

My lips curl. My eyes narrow.My forehead wrinkles.

"Your mom is kind. "He says.
"You're lucky to have them both in your entire life. "He adds.

I just smile to answer.

"But, I'm more lucky to have you. "He says with his eyes fixed on me.

His words melt me,every time it comes out from his mouth.

He closes his eyes and lean his lips close to mine.

He plants a gentle kiss on my lips.

And soon enough, that kiss slowly electrifies my entire body.

His lips slowly release mine.

I can't stop the electricity inside me,it moves me.I kiss him. I wrap my arms on his neck.

This feels good......

His hands are snaking on my waist.

Our lips are moving......

Then,I stop ourselves from kissing.

"Ashton.... "I sigh his name.

"What? "He says.

I shake my head and lick my lips.

That kiss leaves us gasping for air.

I hope Mom is not sneaking.

Oh my gosh......

"Zoe...I want more..... "he whispers to me.

Whut???!!! He wants more???!!!

My eyes widens, I gasp. A kiss? Again?

"Ashton, not here. "I say.

He smiles flirtatiously.

"Oh,sorry.I forgot. "He apologizes.

Oh......what a kiss...
