So,here's mom.Whipping up her delicious dishes and desserts.
The dining table is filled with yummy foods like there's a birthday party for a 7 year old kid. I know, my mom is acting crazy.Cause,c'mon?!
It's the first time that a guy(Guy I am dating,to be specific)to visit our house.
And she's acting like I was about to get married.
"Mom,carbonara is enough."I say.
But,it seems like she doesn't hear me at all.
"Zoe?!"someone calls me.
It's Lyla.
She brings a box of cupcakes.
"Lyla,thank you so much."I thank her.
"You're welcome, Zoe. "She says.
"Ok!!!! Every thing is done perfect. Now,I'm just need to change my clothes. "Mom exclaims.
"Mom?your dress is enough. "I tell her. It's weird, she's acting like Effie from the Hunger Games. You know, perfect outfit for every occasion.
But,she didn't answer me nor look at me.
It's me who should act like that.
"Just let your mom do that. "Lyla tells me.
"But she's over acting. "I insist.
But Lyla put her hands on my shoulders,"Just let things happen, let things fall into place. "She says.

Someone rings the door bell.It might be Ashton.
"Manang Lisa, open the door please!"mom orders.
Ate Lisa hurry to open the door, leaving us at the dining room.
Suddenly, the air smells a little familiar. A clean musky scent.
It's Ashton.
"Zoe?!"I hear his warm voice.
"Oh, Zoe daw ohh."Lyla whispers.
I smile at her as I walk towards Ashton.
"Hey, Ash!"I greet him.
But, his eyes are not on me. His smile grow bigger. I turn around to see Lyla.
Ashton's smile is kinda weird.
He likes Lyla.
My brain says.
No,he likes me.
My heart says.
This is weird.
I'm feeling something.
Something fishy.
"Zoe, you OK? "Lyla asks me,bringing my mind back to reality.
"Yeah,I'm fine. "I reply.
I sit beside Ashton.
Mom walks down the stairs. Ashton stands up and greets her.
"So,you're Ashton? Huh?"Mom asks with a big smile.
"Oh yes,nice meeting you. "He politely says.
After talking about so many things,about each other, he feels hungry.
"Wanna taste my specialty? "Mom asks him.
"Sure. "He replies.
So,Mom and I walk to the kitchen to get the carbonara.
Lyla walks to him to serve some green tea. But, he pulls her arm,which causes her to sit down beside him.Then I notice his smile, it's kinda like, creepy.
I'm not expert when it comes to boys but,I can read his body language.
Holy crap?!?
Did he just place his palm onto her lap?!?
"Zoe? Come on help me. "Mom whispers.
Ugh.
Zoe,calm down. Don't be jealous.......
I say to myself.
Their conversation is filled with giggles, my eyes widens, is he flirting with my best friend???!
Arrrgghh...... Jealousy is eating me right now....
