He had tugged me into a closet. The cliche janitor's closet.

"Kaoru, I-"

"No, it's not like that!"

He frantically waved his hands.

"I just wanted us to be alone..."

"So you settle for this?"

I gestured to a line of a pail's soapy drool. 

"Yeah?"

"Okay."

I raised my palms in defeat.

"What's up?"

I added, when he said nothing. The "awkward silence" was too overbearing.

"I wanted to give you this..."

He whipped out a petite wooden box, with designer initials carved in. My eyes flicked down, and he took the opportunity...

His soft lips, as gentle as a light breeze, were met with my own chapped ones (if I could've predicted this, there might've been some EOS involved). We stayed like that, a sweet, smooth kiss. I stepped away, a light huff to my breathing, and gave him but two seconds before I pulled him in again. This one was deeper, filled with the desire of each other's lips on our own. He smirked slightly as he backed me into the chipped, painted wall, all the while kissing. I knocked over a broomstick with the raising of my elbow as I ran my hands through his auburn hair.

It thudded to the ground, along with Kaoru's box. His grip had slackened with the passion.

We kissed, haha, we actually kissed.

"I love you."

We stood in the Ouran garden, just having experienced the most invigorating kiss of both our lives.

"Ah."

"I love you so much."

I was pressed against a maple tree, his tall figure blocking the sun.

"I love you so freaking much!"

That was me, again.But what I felt couldn't be expressed, even with multiple declarations of love.

"I love you."

It dropped to a whisper. To which he greeted me with another deep kiss. The faint taste of black pepper and chocolate graced my mouth.

"Dammit,"

I heard him say, against my lips.

"I love you too."

Stunned, beyond the point of kissing back, forming coherent words, coherent thoughts.

"I love you," we announced in unison.

A pure white dove perched itself on the branch above us.

He loves me.

Fluffy kawaii! Kaoru is so awkward and cute. And Mori has feelings! Major plot twist!
