(So sorry if I misspelled some words ;p)

The fear increases when you're by yourself,
And brings everything to a
completely new level.

Violetta's pov

"Are everyone in the bus?" The driver asked as everyone nodded.
"Then let's go!" She shouted as she started the bus-engine.

Me, Francesca, Camilla, Naty, Ludmila, Leon, Diego, Maxi, Broaduwey and Federico are going to move into a house in the forest. The house belongs to Federico's family in many generations. But none of Federico's parents have been there in 15 years. So, all of us wanted to stay together and have one holiday together so, Federico decided that we could stay at his family's house. We all agreed because, who wouldn't like to be in a house with your friends alone. Wasn't it the best thing ever?
Far away from your overprotective parents and annoying twin brothers and siblings.

When the long trip was finally over, we all got out from the bus, and started taking our suitcases, with us towards the huge house.

The house was something I'd never imagined.
It had dark colors, like black and grey. The garden looked dead. The flowers in the garden had all whilted.
The house itself was in a dreadful shape, it was heavily dilapidated. The air shimmered and my eyes unwillingly shot a glance at one of the windows on the left side.

Suddenlt, the dark, heavy, wooden front door, jolted back, then swung open when Federico opened it with his keys.

The entrence looked like a cavernous mouth, whilst the window I saw earlier seemed like, dark staring eyes.

When I got inside, It even got more scarier. Dark shadows lurked in the air, along with the faint smell of death that hung in the chi-illed darkness. There where also icicles hanging down from the roof like frozen teeth bared by a cold and heartless beast.

I walked down the hall hoping to find me and Francesca's room as soon as possible.
As I looked at the thick blanket of dust that lay on the roof.
When I found the room I slowly opened the door as I saw two beds on the left side, one small black/grey wardrobe, on the other side of the room
.
I had a feeling that this house wasn't the safest place to be in.
I laid down my suitcase and got towards the living room.

But I still feeled the small faint of death in the air, something was odd abour this house, I thought to myself.

"It's kind of scary, but I like it. It makes it more interesting to live here!" Maxi said sounding happily smiling widely, probably trying to brighten up our mood, as everyone agreed with him.

"Now, let's get some rest and pack up our things." Fede said as we all nodded.

I quickly runned back to our room, ignoring all the dark shadows that lunked in the house-corners.

When I cqme back to my room, I still couldn't find Francesca. Maybe she headed to the other girls to talk with them, I thought as I unpacked my things.

After one hour, I was finally done. That's when Francesca came into our room. "Gosh, this place is scary, but I like it anyways. I don't have my twin brother after me 24/7." She said sounding incredibly annoyed, as I laughed at her. "He isn't that bad, he's acutally pretty nice." I said trying to brighten up her mood, but i failed nonetheless.

"Yeah, cuz' he's a massive flirt." She said irriated as I smiled,
"C'mon let get your things done first." I said as I helped her with unpacking her suitcase.

***

It was already getting dark outside and both I and Francesca was into our beds now texting and calling everyone especially our parents, telling them that we came there safely.

Whem everyone was sleeping, I woke up to get some water from the kitchen. I quitely tiptoed downstairs so that I wouldn't wake anyone up, beacuse the least thing I wanted to do was to argue with people at this time.

When I came to the kitchen and took one bottle of water from the fridge and poured down water to my glass.
At that moment I felt a breeze come from behind me, warm and moist, brushing my ear like a completely stalker. I turned back and saw nothing but darkness. I continued drinking my water as I heard whispers of lost voices echoed all around, creating a gloomy ambience.

I looked back again seeing how the shadow lunked and dissapeard in the corners again. The glass with water slipped from my hands, as I could hear the loud sound of the glass being shattered in one thousands pieces. At that moment I couldn't feel anything more than fear increasing inside me.

I runned with all my effort I had as I finally let out a small breathe of relief when I reached my destination; my room.
Even if this house was scary I felt a lot more safer in there.

Because I could still hear people screaming and whispering "save me." In my head, and at that moment I felt useless. I couldn't do anything more than hiding myself under my dark sheets. I let the tears stream down my face as I hugged myself trying to forget the voices screaming "don't kill me!" And "please help me." That keep replaying in my head all over again, and somehow I can't forget them.

Because I heard something familiar in every voice, because it belonged to someone really important to me...
