Chapter 2- Merida: Decisions decisions Hiccup: Accepted

Okay, before I start the next chapter I want to make a few things clear:

-I apologize if I spelled bouabattons wrong! and once again I own no characters except for Stephen, and the story line :)

-This is in present times, working up to today, but Merida's part in this chapter occurs at the last day of school, where hiccups part is around the middle of July.

-Birthdays! Rapunzel: April 27th, Hiccup: October 8th, Merida: July 20th, and Jack: February 2nd (born in year 2000 for all)

-All four go to muggle school except for Rapunzel

-They are all eleven years old right now in the story.

-Mer has a guy friend who is also a wizard, I don't want to give too much away so that's all I'm saying!

Merida: Decisions, decisions!

Stephen was struggling with all his textbooks when he almost got run over by what seemed like a ball of fire on a skateboard.

"Whoa! Tony hawk! you know your in a hallway!" Stephen said to the spunky red-head as soon as she slowed down and stopped. Merida laughed lightly.

"Sorry 'bout that! I REALLY needed to blow off some steam!" She replyed in her thick Scottish accent that Stephen had always admired.

"Family probs again?"

"It's my mum! She just wont listen!" She then said in a quieter tone, "She wants me to go to boaubatons school of magic! That place is full of annoying prissy girls! " Mer sighed. Today she was wearing slightly ripped jeans and a fadded green t-shirt that proved she was no "prissy girl".

"Well where do you want to go?" Stephen tried to be supportive, but he had no family issues, so he couldn't really relate.

"Hogwarts o' course! Where else do you think, W.A.D.A?! (wizarding academy of dramatic arts)" She chuckled a bit at the end of her sentence. 'Boaubatons...It's where mum went when she was my age...and now she expects me to fit in there?! I'm not her!"

"I know Mer...sorry, I cant really help."

"Oh, It's fine! No need to apologize...' She said, her voice softening as she calmed down. "Where are ye headin' anyway? Yer school?"

They began walking toward their class. "Err...well I want to go to Hogwarts but I'm still waiting for my acceptance letter..." he awkwardly ran his fingers though his hair, "if I don't get in there, then I'm going to durmstrang." He wasn't really the nervous type, so he seemed genuinely worried about it.

"Don't worry about it! We both still have all summer to decide and for ye to get yer letter. Plus yer a pure-blood! There's no reason not to accept ye."

Merida smiled and Stephen couldn't help smiling a little too.

"WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!! DADDADDAD! GUESS WHAT I JUST GOTTTT!!!" Hiccup sang/yelled as he slid happily down the hallway.

"Hiccup?" his father said groggily, "Wha- it's

"Yes, Yes I know but LOOKKK!!!!" The young boy enthused all in one breath, "It's a acceptance letter to Hogwarts!! isn't that awesome!? I really cant believe it! It says I got to be in London at kings cross to get my ticket to Hogwarts- OHMYGOSHohmygosh!! and that mean were going to Diagon alley doesn't it dad?! WOW! I cant wait! I got get a wand and robes OH and-and spell books-"

"Hiccup! Hiccup! Slow down." his father sighed, "Hogwarts?" He asked, "but I thought you were going to attend Durmstrang?"

"Oh. Oh but dad! I got accepted! and I-I don't want to go to ALL boys school, where you have to carry around big sticks (that are more then likely REALLY heavy and inconvenient)-...Well I-I guess... I want to go to Hogwarts." Hiccup finished with a slow sigh.

"Alright. It's seems to be what you want, and if your happy I'm good with it." His father eventually agreeded.

"Thanks dad! Awesome!" Hiccup said excited as he started bounding down the hall. "I've gotta get ready now!"

"For what? It's the middle of the summer!" his dad wondered.

Hiccup laughed but didn't answer his dad. 'I have some plans for today, if you count exploring as plans, which I sure do!' Hiccup thought after getting dressed in his usual simple outfits of green and brown colours, and headed out toward the woods. He was distracted by the excitement bubling inside him about Hogwarts as he walked through the town, only to bump into the one and only person hic NEVER wanted to bump into. He felt his face go red as fire.
