The Legend

"Legend has it," the waitress began. "Long ago, in around 1550, there was a king, and he had 3 sons. One day, the king became sick. He told his oldest son that he would rule the kingdom. His siblings didn't agree with that idea. His siblings coexisted with their brother until one day, he made a fateful mistake. He took the enemy's daughter and kidnapped her. The enemy was furious. His daughter escaped, but he was still angry. He killed the oldest brother in a battle. The remaining two brothers fought over who would rule the kingdom. They eventually killed each other, so the kingdom perished."

"Wow, I said, you have no idea how dumb that sounds to me." I said.

"Sounds pretty reasonable to me." Max said.

"Everything sounds reasonable to you, Max." I said.

Max didn't say anything. He just slipped me a note.

I opened the paper, and it said

Look behind you.

"Max, you're an idiot. Why would you sign a note if I know you were writing it under the table?"

"Just look."

I turned around to see my ex boyfriend, Kai. Don't get it twisted. We agreed to break up. Besides, his mom was rude to me. Since my eyes are black, she told me I was a demon spawn. He loved my eyes. He said they were different.

"Hey Kai." I said. He still makes me blush, even though were not together.

"Hey." He said. "Hey Max, Jasmine." "Where's Molly?"

"We don't know, bit be think she's traped in a haunted mirror in my house." I sighed.

"Well, the last time I saw her, she popped my tired for running over her phone." Kai said. Kai's car is a Cadillac ATS.

"That girl's crazy." He said.

Then I got a text from Molly. It said

Alex, help me, I'm stuck in the mirror we found yesterday. There's a ghost in here, and he says I'm his long lost wife. HELP!!!!!

I texted back.

How did you get in there anyway?

She replied really quickly.

I was standing there, and something dragged me into the mirror. Hurry, it's creepy here!I'll be in front of the portal. You should see me through the mirror.

I never replied, but guessed she knew we were coming for her. The next text I got scared me.

HELP! HE'S DRAGGING ME TO THE WELL, TELLING ME TO WAIT LIKE I MADE HIM WAIT! HE'S GONNA KILL ME! HELP!!!!!
