A phonecall changed everything

Ring!!! Went Ariana's phone. Someone had been trying to call her all morning. 'Errr', Ariana groaned as she got out of bed to answer her phone. As Ari looked to see who calling she was quite surprised. It was Declan. Ariana hesitated to answer, because things would most likely be awkward between them, seems what happened at the plaza the day before. Ariana picked up her phone because she figured that it would only make things worse if she didn't. 'Hello?', Ariana asked as she answered  the phone. 'Hey, Ariana it's Declan. I just wanted to see if you were okay. You seemed a little upset yesterday. Why is that?', Declan asked in a polite way. That's what Ariana liked about him. He always was polite and cared about how she felt. She really wanted to tell him her feelings but was a little embarrassed to tell him. But she couldn't get out of it now. He was asking and she didn't want to lie to him. 'Um, yeah I'm okay. I just...okay this is going to be hard to say but....if I tell you something that you probably don't expect, will you laugh at me?', Ariana said in a really uncertain and nervous way. 'Of course not', Declan replied. 'Declan, you know how you and Sabrina are together now?', Ariana asked. 'Yeah', Declan replied trying to understand the situation. 'Well I was upset...the truth is I still like you and when I moved back here to Honeymoon Avenue, I wanted things to go back to how it used to be between us', Ariana said quickly. It felt good to get it all out. 'Oh, um Ariana I'm really sorry um...I really like Sabrina but um...to tell you the truth I got together with Sabrina because I wasn't over you. I liked her but when I saw you yesterday, my feelings came rushing back for you. Um, can we meet somewhere today to talk in person about this?', Declan asked in a happy way. This made Ariana so relieved. Declan still liked her!!! 'Yeah sure, where?', Ariana asked with a smile. 'How's Talk2me café?', Asked Declan. 'Yeah perfect', Ariana replied. As they said good bye, Ariana was so excited. She was so happy that Declan still liked her an that he wasn't over her. She just was scared of what Sabrina would think. Ariana felt bad but she couldn't help it. She still hoped that Sabrina would be okay and that she would understand. 'Oh no', Ariana thought. Declan and Ariana still hadn't told Sabrina the history between them. This means that she's clueless. 'I hope that I don't make her upset', Ariana said to herself, as she pulled out what she was going to wear to the café.
