Eren pov:

I felt so depressed...it's been months, Levi wasn't back yet and I was seriously starting to worry.

Eren looked at Adrian as the small baby kept spitting his food, giggling and squirming in his high chair. The brunet smiled "stop making a mess Adrian and eat properly...~" the baby frowned and glared at the youth, much like his father would do.

The tall brunet rolled his eyes "okay okay, geez sorry...Keep going Levi Jr...~ I swear you're just like your father..." Adrian just giggled, making grabby hands "you want up...? C'mere handsome...~"

Eren picked his son up, kissing his forehead and the baby grabbed the brunet's face with his chubby hands "pa...pa..." Eren widened his eyes "are you trying to say something...?" Adrian frowned, concentrating more "n-no wait a sec baby, I have to record this..."

In record time, Eren whipped his phone out, opening the camera app and started recording with the camera facing towards the two "were you trying to say something Adrian...?~" the raven haired baby grabbed Eren's face again, making a concentrated face "Uuh....Pa...pa...p-papa...Papa!!~" "Yes! My baby boy said his first word!!~"

The green-eyed omega rejoiced and kissed his baby's face repeatedly, making him giggle loudly "can you say dada or daddy?" His face went back to a serious, concentrated one "D...da...da...uuh...D-dada...Dada!~" the youth squealed at his cuteness "you're so cute!~"

They were suddenly interrupted by the ding dong of the doorbell. Eren put Adrian back in his high chair and put his phone away "you stay here and be good, Papa comes back immediately..."

"I'm coming!" Eren walked to the door and opened it "Ye-" his eyes widened, he felt his heart skip a beat and then started thumping loudly in his ears.

Right at his door was Erwin, Levi's Commander and best friend, in his formal uniform, looking quite serious, sympathetic and somber too "can I enter...?" The younger of the two lightly shook his head and snapped out of his shock induced trance "y-yes, come in please..." "thank you..." Eren ushered him to the kitchen "please sit down, you must be tired..." The older showed him a small smile "thank you..."

He then turned to Adrian, who had kept silent till then, scrutinizing the new person's every move "is this...Levi's child...?" Erwin looked at him with wide eyes "Yes, He is..." Eren scooted the high chair closer to Erwin's chair "Adrian, this is Erwin...daddy's best friend...say hi..." The green-eyed omega took his baby's small and pale hand and waved at Erwin, who just gave him a simple smile "he looks just like him..."

Eren smiled softly "yes, I know..." Erwin immediately looked down, looking regretful "i-is...something wrong...?" The boy's heart started thumping in his ears again, fearing the man's next words "I think you'll need to sit down..." Please don't tell me... "O-okay..."

The poor disoriented boy gulped down the lump in his throat and sat down in front of Erwin. The man grabbed his hands "Levi...has been a good soldier...Strong and powerful...But...in order to protect one of his comrades he's been...shot and went M.I.A...probably captured by the enemy and I came here to inform you that...the funerals will be held tomorrow morning..."
