Levi

The tired captain had just sat down on his chair to work on some boring ass paperwork when he suddenly heard soft rapping at his office door.

Who the hell is knocking...? I sure hope it's not Shitwin or I swear I'll break his face in this time...

He groaned tiredly and pinched the bridge of his nose, an attempt to stop an incoming headache "State your name and business..." "It's Eren Jaeger Sir. Personal matters, may I enter?" He sighed, you're safe this time Shitwin "yes, you may..." The raven heard a muffled 'thank you' as the door slowly opened and in, entered an all fidgety and nervous Eren.

"uhm...I just wanted to...uhh tell you that everyone is waiting for you in the dining hall since...you know...it's Christmas Day...i-if you want to come please do...s-Sorry to have bothered you, I'll go now..." he saluted and walked out, almost running away.

Some strange kid he is...intriguing, yes, but weird...

The raven tried concentrating on his paperwork again but, when he noticed he couldn't, he sighed and decided to check what his brats were up to "what's to lose anyway?" the captain stood up and walked out his office door, headed towards the dining hall.

Eren POV:

Oh god...that was so embarrassing...

'why did they make me go, out of all people??'

The tall brunet sighed and sped walked back to the dining hall, since he could hear footsteps coming, and entered "guys! I think he's coming, I can hear footsteps...Everyone hide!"

Everyone in Levi's squad, including Eren, went hiding.

From the brunet's position he could see the door open as the corporal walked in, looking around almost curiously.

Eren looked at everyone, nodding and they all came out of their hidings.

"Surprise!!~"

It was a funny reaction to say the least, seeing the older man's normally hooded eyes go wide in surprise "happy birthday corporal!~"

The man looked down so no one could see his face.

'Did we do something wrong...?'

The brunet mustered some courage and smiled, clearing his throat "uhm...Here's your gift...from everyone..." Eren had decided to gift the older man an expensive can of black tea leaves he saw his captain eye with interest during their last couple strolls in the city market.

The man looked at the present, slowly taking it in his hands and then opening it. To everyone's surprise his lips twitched up and his whole face lit up, before looking at his subordinates "thank you, all of you..."

The brunet widened his eyes, not used to see his captain like this, blushing and scratching his neck "I-it was no problem really...u-uhm...We have cake, would you...like some...?" Levi looked at the youth "Sure...just don't make a mess..."

Eren smiled "Yes sir, please follow me and sit, I'll come right away..." Levi sat down, still looking at the can of tea in his hands with slight amusement, as Eren went to the kitchen and brought the cake with plates in the dining hall, along with forks and a knife to cut it.
