~Chapter three: Louise's secret~

Lucy's point of view 

OK I know dad told me to get back to Hogwarts, but, the thing is term hasn't started yet! So i'm sort of home alone at Spinners end...Oh yes, i'm oh so lonely...Not! Louise, Harmony and Hermione are round at the moment (Harmony and Louise just about made it.) I'm surprised they came to visit me since my dad murdered Dumbledore 

"So you've got to go back to Hogwarts, ay Fawn?" Louise said through a mouthful of pizza (homemade by me) 

"Sadly yeah, but i'm sure it won't be that bad. Dad's headmaster and what safer place is there than Hogwarts?!" I laughed, whilst tossing some wrappers in the bin from where I lay on one of the setees. But for some reason the whole room went silent...

"Fawn" Hermione piped up sadly, "I don't think Hogwarts is going to be safe any more, with Dumbledore dead and things..."  

"Are you saying that my dad's not safe!" I hissed sitting up and giving her evil looks 

"Well, no offence or anything but Dumbledore was a much, much, much more powerful wizard. And he knew how to protect the castle plus he knew all of it's secrets" she muttered not wanting to look at me

"Oh come off it Mione!" Louise snapped, "everyone may hate that old git - Snape - but he'll be a much better headmaster than Dumbledore! At least he'll be a bit more strict on what type of blood enters the castle!"

"Oh shut up! Your half blood so is Fawn! Just because my parents are muggles do you think he'd kick me out?!" There was a moment of silence, "well anyway it doesn't matter! Because I am not going to be at Hogwarts! Not with Professor Snape being headmaster!"

"Why's that then?" Harmony sneered, I think everyone was annoyed with Hermione now

"Because, I - I - I..." Hermione didn't seem to be able to complete her sentence, she was up to something and by the sounds of it, it didn't sound good...

"Ah well, after Hogwarts i'll become a death eater, marry Draco and let Voldemort take over!" Louise sniggered at Hermione's shocked look

"I don't want to be a death eater, I just want to be like my mother who didn't become a death eater, yet she is still faithful to the dark Lord. I shall marry George and let the dark Lord take over!" Harmony declared

"I don't know what I want..." I whispered, talking more to the celling than anyone else

"Sure you do! You'll get Fred to go back out with you, go into hiding or something if you don't want to be a death eater and watch Voldemort take over! It's simple!" Louise said tossing a sweet at my face to get me to look at her  

"Yeah but what if I don't want to marry Fred? What if I want to stay with dad - " 

"OH PLEASE!" Louise shouted, roaring with laughter, "you can't stay with daddy all your life! You have to move on from your parents company! You have to find love, you just have to! Otherwise it's just plain weird!" 

"I don't have to do anything! I'm a free young adult! I can stay with my father if I like! And if Fred wants me he can come back and get me!" 

"Whatever, i'm just giving you advice for life!" 

"Advice for life! Don't be pathetic! You are seventeen years old! You haven't seen the whole world!" 

"Well neither have you!" 

"WELL DON'T GIVE ME ADVICE THEN!" I yelled 

"Fine then...I'm leaving" Louise declared, she got up and simply apparated but for some reason Harmony stayed...

"What's up with you Harmony?" I asked her, a look of shock had approached her face 

"Oh nothing much, just y'know, Louise has changed a bit...Since...Since..." She stuttured as though something was preventing her to speak 

"Since what?" I frowned, this was rather peculiar. Harmony seemed scared, what could be the cause of this? 

"She's a death eater!" Harmony squealed crying into her hands, me and Hermione looked at each other scared. That's the second time I have been in the presence of a death eater without knowing!  

"Yikes!" I muttered, hoping that Harmony wouldn't hear, I turned to Harmony and she finally looked up from her hands and stared at me, "so er, are you a death eater?" I asked nervously, scared what the answer would be 

"NO! OF COURSE NOT!" She shrieked, Hermione shuffled back a bit away from her nervously 

"Oh OK, so when did Louise become a death eater?" I asked, trying to keep Harmony calm

"Not long before you arrived at the manor, when you were captured" she whispered wiping her tears on her sleeve, even though she could of conjured a tissue box with ease 

"Did she decide it herself or did you-know-who make her?" 

"She decided" Harmony whispered shakily, I looked at Hermione and she looked pretty shocked 

"Well it's true then isn't it?" I said, "Lord Voldemort is going to take over. Your only choices are: obey him, or die..." I whispered, making both Hermione and Harmony flinch at the name, "oh come off it! It's only a name!"  

Well it was true wasn't it? Voldemort was taking over wether we liked it or not. We had to deal with it, we had to stay strong even if it meant risking our lives...
