~I don't know if any of you notice, but I usually don't update until I reach 1k reads and 100 votes on a chapter. Once I reached 1k reads today though, I went ahead and updated.

~Our softball team made it to the playoffs for the first time in about three years, so the practices have taken alot of my time. I also just took my TSI and teachers are milking us over these GOD forbidden final exams. Pray for me. xx

"Alexander, don't kill us, brother." Sebastian teased from the bar.

They made it to his house and were now preparing a couple pots of chicken alfredo. "Oh, shut up." He laughed.

Slowly, Alexander's cousins trickled in Seb's house. Some peeked into the kitchen to greet, and others remained in the den to wait until later.

"Alexander, when are we going to get to know your girlfriend?" The woman from the fútbol match grinned.

"Oh Quinn?" He turned away from the pot. "Go ahead, baby. I'll finish up." He pressed a kiss to her forehead and with that she followed the woman into the den with everyone else.

"Everyone, this is Quinn, Alexander's girlfriend." She turned to Quinn. "I'm Gianna, by the way. One of the few girls."

"How did he manage to snag such a beautiful lady, huh?" One man strolled up to her. He was probably no taller than Quinn but his built statue made up for any height difference.

"Well, I-"

"What does it matter? He's got nothing on me." He threw an arm over her shoulders. "He's a little taller, but I think you know better."

She guffawed at his boldness. "Nice try, buddy."

"Christiano, is it possible for you to accept the fact that you're single?" One man snickered from the one-seater across from them.

"And he won't have a chance to change it if he keeps that up," Alexander emerged from the kitchen. He pulled Christiano into a headlock and began to scrub at his head. "Stop hittin' on my girl, Christi!"

"Hey, hey, man!" He ripped himself from Alexander's hold and scowled, attempting to put his hair back into its quiff. " S'wrong with you, man?"

The den was filled with laughter.

"Glad you're back for a little while, brother." This relative was eye to eye with Alexander and probably would probably be identical had there been none of the minor differences that could only be seen up close.

"Glad to be back, Mathias." He and Alexander moved toward her. "This is my girlfriend, Quinn. Quinn, Mathias."

"Nice to meet you." Quinn smiled kindly.

"The pleasure is mine." He pressed a quick kiss to the back of her hand. "Welcome to the family."

"Oh," Quinn breathed, a bit taken aback.

Alexander only grinned, winking quickly before clapping his hands in attention. "The food is ready; serve yourselves."

Everyone had gotten their plate and were scattered about the den and kitchen. As Quinn strolled around to meet everyone she got various compliments on the pasta, to which she replied confidently that all credit was due to Alexander. "It's his recipe," She grinned.

"But you can cook, right?" One of the girls inquired, cautiously. Her name was Carla, and was one of Alexander's first cousins.

"Oh certainly," Quinn nodded. "He just enjoys it more than I do, I guess."
