I yawned as Len woke me up and groggily got about preparing. We were to visit the neighbouring country today as my first day of being queen. We were to attend balls held for our honor in the other kingdoms. I personally found it a bore, since I have been attending these balls since I was young, and have tired of it. Len tried to motivate me by promising me there would be my favourite snack there, the orange gelatin, but I wasn't convinced.
--time lapse in kingdom-- "....and this is the blue kingdom, Rin. I heard it's also crowned a new king!" Len continued with his introduction, looking almost as thoroughly bored as me. He knows these places as well as I do, every visit I insisted on bringing him. "Len..."I stared at him intently, my blue eyes shining brightly. Len cowered under my gaze and blushed,"w-what...is it?" I strengthened my gaze even more. "You've.....got oranges for me right? I'm hungryy!!" I pouted. "Haha...".he sighed in defeat.
