Beginnning of an End

+Chapter Seventeen+

A/N: Don't worry everyone, I spared Petra in this chapter. But I won't give any spoilers though.

After two days since Lukas' death, the old Order and Petra set up a funeral for him. And also mourn the deaths of Olivia and Axel.

During the funeral, Petra let a few tears fall from her eyes as she watched the townspeople bury Lukas' coffin.

Soren was kinda crying, since he and Lukas were best buddies the past year. Gabriel and Ellegaard comforted him.

The Blaze rods attended Lukas' funeral just to pay their last respects. Even Steve was there!

When the funeral was finished, everyone except the old Order and Petra had left. Steve was gone to live on his own because he built himself a new house. He bid goodbye to everyone and he went off.

Then everyone went to the cemetery, to see Jesse, Olivia, and Axel's grave. Petra bowed down her head and silently cried.

Once Ellegaard saw Olivia's grave, she broke down into tears and sobs. Magnus tried to comfort her but he himself tried to keep himself from crying after seeing Axel's grave.

Soren and Gabriel comforted the three, leaving Ivor alone in the shadows of the trees.

It grew dark as monsters started to spawn. Everyone got ready to leave until, a horde of zombies came at the entrance of the cemetery. Petra and Gabriel got out their swords, Magnus got out TNT, Ellegaard and Soren took out their bows, and Ivor took out his potions.

The zombies attacked everyone, but everyone attacked back. Then out of nowhere, a horde of CREEPERS came entering the cemetery.

Then more mobs, Spiders, Skeletons, then creepers, then zombies again.

"Where are all these mobs coming from?!" Petra shouted angrily.

Ellegaard shot a creeper in the face before answering. "There could be a spawner nea-" but a spider shot out webs at her before she could finish.

"Ellie!" Magnus shouted. He rushed towards Ellegaard but he heard a hissing sound. Then the creeper exploded next to him, causing him to hit his head on the ground, knocking him out.

"Noo!" Gabriel yelled. He stabbed a zombie in the chest but a nearby skeleton shot him on the shoulder. He cried out in pain.

"I'll help Ellegaard, you help Magnus!" Soren said, towards Ellgaard. Ivor nodded then rushed towards Magnus.

"Soren! Help!" Ellegaard shouted, still stuck in the sticky web. "I'm coming Ellegaard!!" Soren called out.

"Hang on, Magnus" Ivor said, taking out a splash potion of healing. Then he splashed it on Magnus.

Magnus' eyes sprang open, then he sat up and gasped. "I'M ALIVE!!!" He yelled.

Soren managed to cut off the webs off Ellegaard by using shears. Then the two of them got up and began fighting the mobs again.

Petra helped Gabriel up and brought him to a safer area, like the shed. Petra shut the door then blocked it. She took off her long, fingerless glove then gave it Gabriel.

"I'll patch you up, just hang on" Petra said, taking out some bandaids from her inventory.

"This might hurt a little" Petra said, as she grabbed the arrow from Gabriel's shoulder then yanked on it then it came off.

"Ahhsssssshhhhit" Gabriel yelped in pain. "Sorry, but this will make it feel a little better" Petra said, wrapping the bandaids around Gabriel's wound. Then she got the fingerless glove from Gabriel's hand then put it on him.

"But this is yours.." Gabriel said.

"I know, Lukas gave it me. But you might need it for now" Petra said, smiling.

"Thank you, Petra" Gabriel said.

"Stay here, I'll fight the mobs. Rueben, keep Gabriel company" Petra said, unblocking the door then running out.

Leaving Gabriel alone with Rueben wasn't the best idea. "So...how was your life?" Gabriel asks Rueben.

If Rueben was a human, he would have sighed irritatedly and narrowed his eyes.

Now back to the fight. Petra helped Soren and Ellegaard fight the mobs while Ivor and Magnus were fighting their own.

It wasn't long before everyone were worn out. They all collapsed on the ground, panting and sweating.

But more mobs approuched them. Petra was willing to protect everyone, she tried standing up but she was shaking then she fell back down.

The spiders never attacked them but they shot webs at them to keep them stuck for zombies and skeletons to kill them.

Petra tried moving her arms and legs but she was stuck in place. Ellegaard and Soren couldn't equip their bows from their inventory. Magnus and Ivor couldn't even move their heads. Everyone was stuck in the webs, hopeless and lost.

The zombies, skeletons, and creepers approuched them slowly then...
