Beginnning of an End

+Chapter Fourteen+

A/N: Choo, choo. The Feels Train is coming within a few minutes. Just kidding.

Petra, Gabriel, Soren, Ivor, Lukas, and Rueben came home early and found out that Ellegaard and Magnus did dirty, thanks to Soren and Lukas, the perverted architects. But soon after that, Petra and Lukas sighed then became sad again. 

Then later, Magnus and Ellegaard came downstairs, Ellegaard's hair is messed up, Magnus' clothes all wrinkled. "Soo...you two have fun up there?" Soren asked, smirking. "Shut.Up" Magnus and Ellegaard said, grittng their teeth.

"I'll go prepare dinner" Gabriel said, walking into the kitchen. "Kay" Most of them said. Petra and Lukas were outside at the moment cause, you know. Mourning the loss of their friends.

"While Gabriel is preparing dinner, why not we sing a song?" Soren said, grinning at Magnus and Ellegaard. "Ready, Ivor?" Soren asked, his partner. Ivor just shrugged.

Soren took a deep breath then...

"MAGNUS AND ELLEGAARD, SITTING IN A TREE!!! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!" Soren and Ivor sang, mocking the engineer and rogue. Ellegaard blushed, covering her face. Magnus growled while blushing.

Gabriel was setting down the food on the table, like the usual. Soren and Ivor continued to mock Magnus and Ellegaard.

While outside, Petra and Lukas were outside, sitting down on the ground looking into the sky. Petra sighed, before resting her head on Lukas' shoulder. When they were little, they used to be like siblings.

~Flashback~

Petra was only thirteen years old when she met Lukas and Lukas was only fourteen. They met at a forest biome, at midnight. Young Petra was walking towards her shelter for the night but she had to meet Lukas at the river, but monster started to spawn.

"I guess, Lukas has to wait" Petra said to herself. She took out her wooden sword from her inventory. Zombies started to walk towards her. Petra killed three of them but more came after her.

She darted away towards where the river was. But then a skeleton spawned nearby and shot her arm. "Ah! Crap!" Petra yelled in pain. She looked at her arm, it was bleeding badly with the arrow still stuck on it. 

But then when she looked infront of her, more hostile mobs surrounded her. She backed away, until she heard the rough waves of water beneath her. She was near to her death. But then,

Lukas jumped infront of her, then shot arrows at the creepers, zombies, and skeletons. 

"Lukas!" Petra cried out happily. "Sorry I took so long to get here!" Lukas said, still shooting arrows at the monsters. 

It wasn't long before Lukas ran out of arrows, so he grabbed Petra's hand and ran away with her. Petra yelped in pain, since Lukas didn't know a skeleton shot her arm yet.

It took about five minutes to get back to Lukas' place, which was just a small wooden house. Petra and Lukas went inside, and Lukas slammed the door shut.

"Are you okay?" Lukas asked Petra. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just got shot in the arm by a skeleton" Petra said, showing her arm to Lukas. Lukas gasped. 

"Hold on, I'll fix you up" Lukas said, walking towards the chest and opening it. Then he took out some medicine and bandaids. "Hold still" Lukas said. Petra held out her arm as Lukas put some medicine on some cotton.

Then he dabbed it on Petra's wound. "I'll try to remove the arrow" Lukas said, grabbing the arrow. Then in one swift motion, he yanked it out causing Petra to scream in pain but holding it back.

"I'm sorry, I really am. It's just tha-" Lukas was cut off by Petra putting her finger on his lips.

"Shh, it's fine. Just warn me next time, okay?" Petra said, smiling.

Lukas smiled then nodded. Then once he cleaned the wound, he wrapped it up in bandaid. 

"Thanks Lukas, for saving me back there. And fixing up my arm" Petra said. Lukas laughed. "No problem" Lukas replied. "Oh yeah, here" Lukas held out a fingerless glove. 

"It will cover up the bandaids" Lukas said. "Heh, thanks dude" Petra took it then put it on. It suited her.

"We'll always be best friends, right?" Petra asked Lukas. "Yup" Lukas replied, putting his arm around Petra's shoulder. Then two then fell asleep until it was day again.

~End of flashback~

Petra smiled at the memory. She looked at Lukas, who was staring into space. "Hey Lukas.." Petra called Luka out of his trance. "Hm?" Lukas replied. "We'll always be best friends, right?" Petra asked Lukas. "We'll always be" Lukas smiled at her. They looked into each other's eyes then before you know it...

The door slams open, then Soren and Ivor came tumbling out into the snow, landing on their faces. Leaving Petra and Lukas in shock. Then at the door, Magnus stood there, his hands on his hips with an angry expression on his face.

"If you guys stop it, we'll let you two back in" Magnus said, in an irritated voice. Soren and Ivor nodded, like little kids being scolded. Magnus opened the door wider, then the Architect and Brewer came running in.

"Hey, love birds. Get in, dinners ready" Magnus said, closing the door. 

"Love birds? Seriously, Magnus?" Petra called out. "Hey, let's just head inside. I'm starving" Lukas put his hand on Petra's shoulder. Petra sighed and smiled. "Okay" Petra smiled.

Then the two went inside the temple, closing the iron door behind them.

When the two were in the dinner table, Ellegaard, Magnus, Gabriel, Ivor, and Soren looked at them. Petra and Lukas sat down on their chairs and took their utensils.

Lukas glanced at the empty chairs, that used to be Axel's and Olivia's. Lukas sighed sadly then took some food from the serving plates.

"So, what did Soren and Ivor do to make you so mad, Magnus?" Gabriel asked Magnus, who was glaring at Soren and Ivor. "Ohh, those two idiots" Magnus pointed at Soren and Ivor.

"They kept on teasing me and Ellie, that we did dirty upstairs" Magnus said, crossing his arms.

"But it's true, Magnus. You and Ellegaard really did dirty, ask Lukas!" Soren said. "Hey! Don't take the blame on me! I didn't do anything!" Lukas said, holding his arms up in the air.

"Alright, alright. That's enough. Just eat" Ellegaard said, calming everyone down.

Then the seven remaining people in the house continued to eat their dinner, then they all went to bed.
