Hatsune P.O.V
The evening had arrived. All through the day I couldn't help but worry over the preparations and kept double checking they were all ok. Much to my surprise I quite frequently saw vampires in the hall, checking on everything and making it look amazing. Which was strange since they never normally help out with anything if they don't need to. Twice now I was met with the sight of Chanyeol and Lay singing their hearts out while they poured drinks and sweets into paper plates and cups.
As I left the hall I was met with an eerie darkness of the corridor leading up to my dorm. Waiting for my eyes to adjust to the low levels of lighting I blindly walked towards the only source of light I could find. Falling through the door I was met with the comfort of my dorm room, my lamp conveniently on illuminating my room. Breathing out a sigh of relief I reached down under my bed to collect the last of the decorations for the event.
At that moment a loud clap of thunder emitted from the sky bringing with it loud heavy rain, which pelted at the window. Looking up I reached towards the curtains of the window when a figure appeared from the blackness as a fork of lighting flashed in the dark purple sky. The lights went out in my room leaving me in total blackness. Reaching for a pocket torch in my desk draw I twisted it on, it's dim bulb flickering to life. Just as a face appeared from the darkness, lit up by the torch.
"ARGGKKK!!" I shouted throwing my torch at the persons head. It bounced off them hitting the floor and dislodging a wire causing the light to go back out again.
"I seriously wouldn't do that again..." An angry man grunted back reaching his lanky skinny fingers at my face grabbing my cheeks. Sparks began flying out of his free hand giving me short images of his facial expressions.
"You control lightning?" I questioned seeing sparks of white light jump from the fingers on his free hand.
"The weather to be exact. Although I favourite lightning.... It packs more of a punch." His words slipped through his mouth like a snake on the ground. Hissing into my ear and sending shivers up my spine. As he laughed so did the sky sending down lighting bolts followed by house shaking thunder.
"Sehun sent for you. I'm not asking I'm telling. Will you come or do I have to force you?" He asked his fingers still attached to the burning skin of my face.
"I will come. Who are you anyway..."
He released his grip. As he did so the rain slowed, finally coming to an end as the storm passed. His face lit up and his used his power to restore light to the room. Extending his hand out towards mine he signalled for me to take hold of it. Tao appeared at his side. "The names Chen by the way."
Within seconds we were in the vampire dorm surrounded by Tao, Sehun, Luhan and Chen. "Why do you want me here sehun?" I questioned stubbornly. I didn't have time to waste with the ball starting in an hour.
"I just wanted to ask you if you will dance with me at the ball tonight?" Sehun questioned, approaching me to stand only a few centimetres from touching.
"What if I say no?" I wasn't down for this. And I wasn't wasting my time either with these stupid questions. Turning to walk away and back towards the door when my body froze. Unable to move or control my movements, Luhan manipulated me like a puppet turning me with his mind until I was back facing a dark and sinister sehun.
"I will drink your blood if you say no. Right here, right now. There is no one to stop you... And if they tried Luhan will stop them."
"That wasn't part of the pla-"
"SHUT UP LUHAN! That is the plan now."
Spitting in sehuns face as Luhan dropped his control on me I ran towards the door. Only to be met with a gust of wind which blew me back into sehun, into his deathly grip of his arms.
"SEHUN! I would have gone with you if you haddnt of threathened me!! Why can't you be normal and just ask!" I shouted as hot tears fell out of my eyes. Releasing me I fell to the floor, unable to hold myself. Sehun dropped to the ground next to me placing a hand on my shoulder which I immediately pushed off.
"Don't cry. I'm no good at this stuff Ja.... Hatsune. I'm....... I'm sorry" peering through my tears I saw a genuine shock on his face as he realised what he had just done. Or tried to do. Nodding in acceptance of his apology he rose to his feet escaping through the doors and up to the bedrooms.
Rising to my feet and clearing the wetness from my face I apologised to everyone for causing a commotion. Most felt embarrassed they had to witness something like that. Especially Luhan who was now seriously considering his alliances with his brother. "Tell sehun I will dance with him tonight. If he decides to come." I said towards Luhan who nodded. My hand clammed around the door handle and twisted it opening my route out of the evil building and into fresh air. My lungs happy they finally had a chance to breathe.
