Suho's P.O.V

Taking the opportunity while it was there I swooped in through the open window. Keeping to the shadows as I made my way down the hall and to the main gallery. I had been to this museum many times and I knew what I was looking for. Nethertheless that didn't stop beads of sweat from dropping down my forehead and onto my shirt. Hearing footsteps suddenly appear on the floor told me I had to get out of there. Reaching for the highwayman costume I was met with a wall of confusion when I realised it wasn't there. "What the--" I whispered outloud. Running into the shadows just as the night guard made his rounds. Turning right he began walking down a corridor, thankfully in the opposite direction if my escape route.

As he approached the heavy wooden door he made a quirky move for it thinking no one was watching. Flicking his foot under the small gap in the door it swung open. Not anticipating his trick to work the door slammed his square in the face. Trying my hardest not to laugh at his while he swore to himself. Grabbing for a tissue he blotted his now bleeding nose. A smell that sent me crazy. I had already fed for the night but even so.... The smell of fresh flowing blood. It was irrististable.

Transforming my body into water I was able to creep along the floor in a steady stream of silent water until I reached his feet. Looking down at me he lifted his foot up to inspect where the water was from. Perfect. Grabbing his now unbalanced leg I yanked it from under him until his head hit the floor. Peering over him I noticed his eyes were closed. The pressure of the fall had knocked him out cold.

"Awh man I wanted more of a fight" I said outloud while finding the vein in his neck. Biting down I took in the delicious taste of blood for the second time tonight. Stopping just before his blood loss hit a critical level. "That should last me a few days now." And with that I darted out of the museum and back to the college.

Arriving at the dorms I noticed the familiar room of Hataune's. the light still on if very dimmed. Making sure no one was around I gracefully took one leap up to the first floor window landing perfectly on the balcony. I heard giggles coming from the room. One was defiantly Hataune's but I could tell who the male one was. Peering in making sure not to be seen I saw a happy smirking Kai. He seemed to be having fun with her. From the looks of things they were curled around a couple if candles reading from what looked like a haunted stories book. "Ahh humans are their stories" I whispered to myself and jumped back down from the ledge deciding to leave Hatsune and Kai in peace.

Kai's p.o.v

It was just me and her. In all her beauty sat in front of me. Since the first time I met her all those years ago I knew she was something special, but I never knew I would feel this way for her. Her voice sang as she told the stories in her tattered and worn book it almost sent me to sleep. But then she would start giggling or make up something that she thought was so hilarious she would start rolling around the bedroom floor. It was actually adorable.

It was at that moment I realised her head was incredibly close to my lap. Patting down on it I gave her the signal to rest her head on my knee. She snuggled into the gaps and creases of my body until her head fit perfectly. Staring up at me with her shockingly green eyes. I couldn't help but let a smile escape past my lips as I watched her eyelashes kiss her cheeks everytime she blinked. Reaching for her hair with my hand I let my fingers wandering through her silky soft hair that fell off her face and towards the floor, stopping millimetres away from touching it. My fingers wandered through the forest of hair until it came to a clearing if her cheek. Brushing the tips of my fingers along her delicate skin not wanting to press to hard, as if she was a porcelain doll. They eventually found her lips which were damp and full. Allowing my fingers to trace the lines of her lips until they tensed up into a smile. Looking back up to her eyes I noticed she was looking back as me.

She sat up from where she was still fixed gaze on my face. She tucked a small strand of hair behind her ear. All the while her face got closer and closer to mine. Feeling the tension build up and wanting to just kiss her already I pressed my lips against hers. Lightly and lovingly. As if anything else would be an insult to her. She repeated my actions linking her fingers into mine. Following my lead to the kiss. Allowing herself to fall deep into my body.

Pulling away she fell into my arms snuggled into my neck as I held her. Her nose squirrelled into my neck looking for warmth. Feeling her body going heavy I realised she was tired. Lifting her up into my arms with ease I carried her over to the bed resting her in it. Pulling the duvet over her petite body she let the duvet into her hands as she pulled it up to her face. She then rolled over making herself comfy and drufted off to sleep. Smiling down at her I let my hand touch her face for the last time that night and made my way through the door, closing it silently behind me.

Hatsune P.O.V

The masked ball was tomorrow and all I could think about was the kiss with Kai. Stood frozen in time as my flashback of the moment replayed over and over again in my head.

"The floor isn't going to mop itself" I heard a faint voice whisper behind me into my ear. I snapped back into reality and swung my head around to see xiumin stood closely behind me with a broom in his hand.

"Eh? What are you doing here?" I questioned. Feeling rather rude a moment later as I realised how blunt I had sounded. "Let me rephrase that. I never normally see you awake at this time of day..." He smiled back at me pointing out one of the grand hall windows. I fixed my gaze on the miserable looking sky above while raindrops splattered against the window glass. Unintentionally I facepalmed myself totally coming to the conclusion that the vampires could venture out due to the dark clouds covering the sky.

Taking up my mop in my hand I continued to make wet circles on the dusty wooden floor. Meanwhile xiumin was at the other end of the room finishing off brushing the dirt into a pile at the fire escape door. Catching myself whistling I couldn't help but notice xiumin, who was out of earshot of my whistles was dancing to a tune. Dropping my mop to the ground I walked over to investigate.

As I got closer I could here him singing. His sweet melody going perfect with the words. His body rippling in sync to the rhythm of his song. He was singing the words to the song I had in my head all morning and had been whistling for the past half an hour.

"How do you know that song?" I questioned patting him on the shoulder. His singing immediately stopped as he turned to look at me.

"It's a song my mother sang to me when I was a kid. It's a very old song about 150 years ago is when I first heard it." My jaw dropped. Completely forgetting vampires lifespan exceeded humans I was taken by surprise that xiumin said it was 'about 150 years ago' as if 150 years isn't considered old. He just giggled and continued to brush up the last piles of dirt.

"How do I know about that song then if its so old?" I asked myself while I mopped the last corner of the hall. Wiping my brow line with the back of my hand as I placed the mop down. Walking out of the halls grand doors and into the lobby area if the school to collect the bunting and decorations. I was so excited for this masked ball butterflies began appearing in my stomach, despite it not being until tomorrow. I couldn't wait, I loved parties.
