So Jack and Alice went outside through the back door. "I need to get rid of my phone, and my old knife." Jack said. "I know where a lake is." Alice said. "But it's a 40 minute drive from here." She complained. Jack sighed. "You didn't think we were gonna walk the whole way with these heavy ass bags did you?" Jack asked. He pulled a gun out of the duffel bag he was carrying. "Let's steal a car." He said. "The police are already after you." Alice said. "We are probably gonna get caught." "No we aren't." Jack said. "I have a plan." Alice looked at him through the corner of her eye. "Well..what is it?" She asked. "You're gonna steal a nice looking car-emphasis on nice looking, and pick me back up here. And when I mean here, I mean literally in the backyard." Jack said, confidently. "How am I gonna pick you up in a backyard without anyone noticing?" Alice asked, concerned. "Oh, I don't care about that." Jack said, nonchalantly. "Just ram through the fence and I'll get in the car, and we'll get outa here." Alice laid her duffel bag down and unzipped it. She pulled out a regular looking pistol and made sure it was loaded and off of safety. She looked down to the ground. "How much time do I have?" She asked.
At this moment Jack had realized that she was really going to come back. And that he was in charge. He was loving every minute of it. "Just try not to take long. I'm not a patient person." He said. As soon as he said that, she jumped the fence and ran as fast as she could to an open road where there were cars. Jack zipped her bag back up so it'll be ready to go when she returns.
20 minutes later, a car crashed into the backyard fence. Jack grabbed both bags with all his strength and jumped in the car. They drove off immediately. "Did you kill anybody?" Jack asked, intrigued. "No haha." Alice said, laughing. Jack knew the police will definitely be coming. He looked at at the gas meter. It was filled. "Drive to the lake, then I'll tell you where to head." He demanded.
Around 30 minutes they arrived at a lake, where people were fishing. Alice had drove faster than the speed limit to hurry there. "Here's my phone and my knife." Jack said, taking the items out of his pockets and handing them to her. "Dump em. And make sure no one notices." He said in a serious tone. "Well aren't you lazy." Alice joked, while getting out of the car. Jack took that time to put the duffel bags in the back seat, but got out some ammo and two handguns for himself and two for Alice. Alice got back in the car and drove off. "You're fine, no one saw me." She assured him, before Jack could ask any questions.
Jack put the two pistols he got out for her on her lap and she looked down. "You seem to have some place to go." She said. "Where?" She asked. Jack was silent, while looking in the car mirror at his face injury. "I want to kill someone I hate." He said, finally. "Hate is a strong word, dear." Alice said. "Oh, I know that very well." Jack said. "Can't hate someone unless you plan to kill em in my book." "Well I suppose you're right, sir." Alice said. "So you still wanna go through with this?" Jack asked. "Sure." Alice said. "I'm curious though. What did this person do?" She asked. " You don't seem like the type to go out of your way to punish someone. He or she must be a very bad person." She added.
"We live in a world where you can't trust anybody. Not even your own 'best friend'." Jack said. "That's not true." Alice said. "Sure, there are some snakes out there, but when you're all alone there will be someone to pick you up. You might not realize it because your eyes may be closed, or you might be blinded by hatred. But if you stop and take time to look, then you'll see who is worth your time. And if you're anything like me, time is very important to me and I don't like mine wasted. Whoever this person was, wasn't your best friend to begin with. They were a snake and you were Adam. Hate to say it, Jackaboy, but you were deceived. So let's kill em and work on those trust issues okay?"
Just when she said that, they heard sirens and in the mirror, they saw police cars behind them.
