Alice and Jack sped down the road until they reach an old abandoned house. "Let's stop here." Jack said. "Why?" Alice asked. "We need to hurry up and get to our destination." She added. "It'll be quick." Jack promised. "Just pull through the back so nobody will see the car." "Yes sir." Alice said. She pulled behind the abandoned house and turned off the car. Jack and Alice went through their duffel bags and got out two switchblades and the same two pistols they used with the police. They went to the back door and opened it.
Alice's eyes turned glassy again as she looked around. She stopped Jack from walking any further as they entered the house. "What are you doing?" Jack asked, concerned. "I'm looking for traps." Alice said. "I sense a presence." She added. Jack took his gun off of safety and cocked it. "I didn't say he was hostile toward us." Alice said. "And there are no traps. Let's just go. Keep an eye out." She warned him. "Hey!" Jack yelled. Alice jumped and her eyes turned back to normal. "Come put slowly and maybe I won't blow yer head off!" He added. There was a squeaking noise, like someone needed to put oil in a door or something. "Come out NOW or-" "JESUS CHRIST! What do ya want? I'm tryna sleep!" The unknown presence interupted Jack in a highly aggravated tone. Jack's eyes widened in disbelief. Alice's expression was nothing more of confusion. More squeaking was heard and the presence spoke again. "Let me get dressed, and then we can dance." It was clear he was male. More than that, he was young.
The male stepped out of the room and it was true. He was a male and he was young. "Two against one?" He asked in statement form. "Well I killed Goliath, so this should be easier than walking a dog." He added in a confident way. "Not if that dog is a Hyena." Jack snarled. "I'm King David." He introduced himself, pulling out a sword. "I'm only 12, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall, Mr. Hyena." David said, getting ready to attack. "Well, David. Sorry to break it to ya, but even kings fall." Jack said, pulling out two knives.
David and Jack started each other down for a while Alice sat back. She knew it was one on one. She trusted Jack to take care of a mere 12 year old. But there was something different about him. All of a sudden, they came at each other with everything they had.
