•Vera•"And I have a plan."
"What are you talking about?"
"I went by your locker and got it...and a few of your things. Your welcome."
"How did you--"
"Oh I cracked the code. '000' Extremely creative." He adjusts the rear view mirror to look at me.
"Psh."
"Haha." He runs his fingers through is deep brown hair.
"I can see you've figured out how to activate the device. The windows by your locker are all screwed up."
"What is that thing? When it came on everything started to shake and people were screaming. It was like an quake but I think it was indoors."
"Yeah. It also makes ear splitting noises! Cool or what?"
"Sure, but why?"
"I have a lot of free time."
"Why didn't I hear it?"
"Because you activated it. You're not affected."
"Oh."

The house is as quiet as ever, apart from Aaron running helter-skelter around the house gathering a bunch of gadgets.
"This is invisi cream." He sits beside me on the couch. "It's name says it all." He pops it open and dips his hand into the grey-ish cream. He brings it out and nothing seems to be in the area where his hand had once been.
"Tah-Dah!" He grins at me.
Aaron is really good at inventing things. Before my parents were taken, my dad used to take Aaron and I to his lab and teach us the basics, turning things invisible basics, but he focused more on Aaron.
"And watch what happens I do this... " He places his ice cold fingers on my arm, sending shivers down my spine. My arm disappears. I look up and Aarons gone too.
"Aaron." I whisper.
"Right here V." He chuckles. "Once you touch a surface or a person, your whole body goes unseen and so does the thing or person you touch."
I turn my head slightly till a standing mirror is in my view. No figure appears in it. "Did dad teach you this?"
"Uh...well kinda." I'm guessing he shrugs because I can't see his movements and it's the kind of thing he would do. "Well I will be right back, I think the mac and cheese is burning... " He pulls his hand away and we both reappear. He jogs to the kitchen.
I'm here surrounded by my thoughts. Why didn't he take up that opportunity? If he can create things like this with all his potions and devices an--
SLAM!
A sound vibrates through the living room, arresting my thoughts. I rush to the window, opening the blinds slightly to see who is invading the privacy of my home.
Two fairly large men in identical black suits with thin ties around their collars. A young boy roughly my age, stood tall by a dark car along with the men. My eyes scan him; he seems more relaxed than the others. A dark flannel hugging his defined torso and a dark denim jeans is hanging on his hips.
His eyes darts towards me and I quickly dip my fingers into the cream, clutching the grey container for dear life. I stare at him to see if he noticed me, he just smiles. Can he see me? I'm invisible right?
I jog over to the kitchen, the warm aroma of the ever so delicious mac and cheese greets me as I enter.
"A--aron. A--aron. There are people ou--outside." I stutter. My eyes sting as a tear rolls down the side of my face, I wipe it away before it gets to my chin. Even though Aaron can't see me.
