"So why must I come here?" I asked Chris, my tone dripping with annoyance. He shrugged, his face showing clear signs of annoyance and regret for taking me here. Good. I regret coming here. I didn't want to come to this ice cream parlour, even if the chocolate mocha sundaes are 'unmissable'. I didn't want to meet this Jamie, but to be fair, I didn't want to meet anyone. I was fine in my cocoon, thanks, no need for me to become a butterfly too early. What a stereotypical girl, talking about butterflies, more like, what a weirdo! I tensed as the door opened. Was it her? No it can't be. Jamie has dyed hair apparently. Then the door opened again and following the jangly bells in came a beautiful girl. I don't mean the classic pretty girl, I mean beautiful. Her eyes were the perfect brown, her lips were perfectly curved. God, she was perfect. Fuck, this is the last thing I need. I breathed, my face feeling flush and I mumbled a hello before sinking into my seat. Jeez, sadie, pull yourself together, she's probably straight anyway. Story of my life. Always falling for the straight ones. My life was this way until I met Jamie. I had, obviously, met other girls. I have had a few crushes. I have even had a boyfriend (long story which involves reluctancy to come out)! But none of them were this incredible. Her face was so pretty. So... Easy to stare at. Crap. I was staring at her! 'Way to go creepy girl! You have succeeded in creeping someone out. 2 minutes, new record, right?!' my subconscious teased me.
