A series of apparently unconnected murders in disconnected locations all over the world are the result of one man's obsessive mind. Because of the geographical spread of his carefully planned and apparently motiveless murders, this would normally be impossible to solve.
You see, there's always some idiot out there who thinks he can play God.

My eyes settle on a small group of humans a few meters away. One of them is an underground black market organ dealer. A vision of madness and wanton dreams.
The black market is where every pound of flesh has a price tag tacked onto it. It is a place where you can buy everything, even a child's heart.
The other five are just doctors.
The camp-fire burns next to them down. Something is coming their way, which means I have to be quiet. I am up for the task.

Basic infected walkers are attacking the humans. They are slow, which means this is not the virus my Father made but I'm going to regret this later.
"God help us." I hear someone say.
I hold my semi-automatic in a firing-ready position to count all the infected, then fix the pistol on the target, load a round into the chamber and fire.
Again and again and again until they all drop dead, expect the humans.
It appears the genome of this virus has been manipulated to give a higher level of pathogenicity and to make it capable of human-to-human transmission. The ability of these organisms to cause disease is unlike anything else.
I didn't need to check if the humans are following my gaze; even a blind man could see me now. It's who I am; it doesn't matter if I've gone too far.
"She is armed," A very tall man blurts out. "Dangerous."
He is right about me. I look small for my age, for the things I can do.
I can feel them staring at my face and it makes me want to crawl out of my skin.
"You're afraid of me."
I am what I do.
