Chapter - 1

"ALEXIS MAE PARKER, GET UP NOW!!!"

Yep that would be my cue. I rolled out of bed moaning as I stumbled over to my bathroom. I took a quick shower and threw on some ripped jeans and a white tee. I left my golden brown hair down naturally wavy and put on some mascara and my favourite lip gloss.

"Oh my god I'm gonna be late for my first day" I said sprinting down the stairs and into the kitchen.

My mom was just placing waffles onto a plate that looked and smelt delicious. She was wearing lycra sports wear and looked exhausted.

"Have a good run?" I asked,

"Yeah it was alright, got attacked by a thousand Mosquitos and nearly ran into a lamppost, but now's not the time for story telling you need to hurry up and get to school or you're going to be made out as the 'late new girl'." She pointed

"Sure"

I mumbled picking up a waffle and shoving it in my mouth, chewing on it whilst putting on my shoes and picking up my bag.
I really wasn't looking forward to the first day. It's always the worst. My mom moved me from my old private school to BHHS (Beacon Hills High School) because ever since my dad died 3 months ago, we really don't have a lot of money. So I've got a crappy weekend job at the cinema which is ok pay and gets us through.

"Alexis"

My mom called and I turned to look at her

"You'll be fine, okay just have fun and meet some people" she smiled at me.

"Okay" She walked over to me and gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead.

I picked up my keys and walked out the door shouting a bye at my mom. I got in my car and drove off to school. As I pulled into the parking lot there was a swarm of students making their way in the school. I parked my car and took a deep breath taking in everything thats about to happen then resting my head on the steering wheel,

"You can do this Lexi, just stay calm and cool, don't get into any trouble and listen in class" I said to myself.

I got out of my car, slung my bag around my shoulder and walked toward the doors. I saw the office area and was greeted by an old lady wearing a grey suit and black square glasses, she looked friendly and shook my hand.

"Hello, welcome to Beacon Hills High School, I'm Mrs Smith and you must be Alexis Parker our new student?" She smiled.

"Uh..yes..yes I am, nice to meet you" I was more nervous than I thought. Bring on the day!

"Here's your timetable" she handed me a yellow piece of paper "and if you ever need anything just ask me okay?"

"Okay thank you" I said in the most robotic tone

"That's alright now you better go and find your locker with books and head off to class"

She obviously wanted me to go so i nodded at her and walked off keeping my head low avoiding all the students walking past. I looked down at my paper and I had locker 69, oh god I'm going to get bullied for this.

I saw a boy stood next to my locker with a hand full of books, he had short brown hair and was wearing a black tee with a blue lumber jack shirt over the top and dark denim jeans. I went over to introduce myself, I might as well try and make some friends.

"Hi" I said opening my locker smiling at him

"Hey! You must be the new girl, Alex...?" He said with an unsure face

"Alexis" I smiled "but you can call me Lexi"

"Stiles" he shook my hand and smiled "So what class do you have now?"

"Umm...English with Mr.Harris"

"Same!! I'll introduce you to my friends" He said excitedly

"Haha okay then" I laughed and shut my locker.

Stiles is definitely going to be a friend, I can just tell from how he acts and how nice he is. He seems quite the childish/sarcastic one but I wouldn't go for him, he is cute but not like that. He probably has hot friends though... Jesus Lexi, been here what, 5 minutes? And I'm already thinking about boys.

So this is my first fanfic I have written, so some constructive criticsm would be nice:) I will update frequently and make longer, more interesting chapters so yeah hope you like it!
