Lexi's POV
Well that was so not an awkward lunch. After I told them we didn't really say anything and just kept conversation short. I know I shouldn't have really told them straight away, I mean it's only the first day but I've made friends and you gotta tell friends stuff. But Scott was so nice about it, I don't like talking about it but when he put his hand in my knee I felt so much more relaxed and calm, I really need a chance with this one. I hope he thinks the same about me too.
The bell rung for the end of lunch and I quickly looked at my resume and had Math on my own again, but then Chemistry with everyone! I followed some people into class and just sat there listening to the teacher blab on and on about equations and how x is the best bloody letter in the alphabet or whatever. I seriously am shit at Math and don't even understand why we have to do it? I mean it's not like im gonna be a scientist or something when I'm older.eugh.
*RING RING RING RING*
Why do school bells exist? Iv'e been asking that question ever since I was 5. The ear-splitting sound of the bell seemed to wake me up from my trance and reminding me that I have Chemistry next with everyone, yay! Another lesson I'm crap at.
I found everyone in time and walked to Chemistry. Stiles just went on and on about how much work he has to do later, haha he's so funny.
"Mr Harris again?!" I questioned
"YEAH I KNOW RIGHT! He's so annoying I just wanna....URGHH!" Stiles exclaimed throwing his arms about. He's such a baby sometimes.
"Hello again Miss Parker"
"Hello Sir" I said back walking into the room
"Are you ready for the bet Chem class in your life!?" He said excitedly
"Uh yeah sure..." I replied with a frown marking my face
"What is with him?" I asked Stiles
"Well, you're his new pet obviously!" He whispered to me emphatically
"He probably likes a break of poor students like you" I said back my tone dripping with emphasis. He just rolled his eyes and walked to his seat.
"Right, Miss Parker you can take the seat next to Mr McCall"
"Uh thank you" I said back walking to Scott.
"Hey Lexi"
"Hey"
"Well Harris definitely likes you"
"Yeah Stiles said the same thing"
"Haha gaining likes eh" he said showing that gorgeous half smile that made me melt.
"Something like that" I smiled back an opened my books on the table. I'm kinda glad I'm next to him because I really want to know him better and work out if he likes me.
"Now class we will be starting a termly project from now on, you will be working in pairs with the person you are sat with. Work at home is very useful as it will be quite difficult" Mr Harris lectured
"Guess we will be seeing more of each other then" Scott said to me and I smiled like a goof.
"Do you want to start it tonight?"
What do I say? Yes, no or maybe tomorrow? I just wanted a night to myself! Ugh
"Um sorry I'm having a night in with my mom...but tomorrows fine?!" I stammered trying to get him to buy into my lie
"Sure" a small smile tugged at his lips "that's good for me"
"Thanks" I said and turned to face MrHarris writing something on the board. As class went by I'd learnt a lot more about Scott, how he lives with his mom and his dad left them when he was young, he quietly mentioned that he dated Allison for a while last year, but they ended it and she's interested in someone else. Ooh I need to know who this someone is.
Class finished and we all said our goodbyes and I walked on my own to the parking lot. The drive home was plain and short when I pulled into the drive way, and stampered into the house swinging my bag around like a child. Just to get bombarded with questions from my mom asking about my first day.
"How did it go?! Did you make friends!? Have you got any homework!? Did you get lost!? Did you get lunch okay?!"
"Mom it was fine. I did make some friends and I got lunch okay" I answered, smirking slightly thinking about what I did to Stiles in the canten.
"Oh well that's wonderful sweetheart!" She exclaimed throwing her arms around me, squeezing tightly.
"Mm-m-o-m" I said gasping for air, "can't breathe"
She giggled and released me patting my head and strolled off into the lounge to watch some tv show she's overly obsessed with. I clambered up the stars to my bedroom and immediately sat down and did my homework for what it seems; 3 hours.
