Chapter 28

Today was our last day of our camping trip. Ji-Yu and I got up and went to brush our teeth. After that we quickly changed in our tent. We packed up our stuff and took down our tent. The teachers cooked breakfast for all of us. We all ate our breakfast then did a couple more activities. We went on a hike then had some times to ourselves for a bit.

We played flag football and just walked around. Kihyun dragged me to the campfire we were at last night. He held onto my hand and took something out of his pocket. It was a necklace. The necklace had writing on it, 사 랑.

"It means love. I didn't know if I was able to say it last night but I did. I had a backup just incase I couldn't," he said shyly.

"Gomawo, " I said throwing my arms around him.

"I love you," I whispered softly to him.

"I love you too," he whispered back.

We hugged each other tight and walked around the camp site until we heard whistles. We went back up to where everyone else was. Everyone was gathered in a circle. Mr. Song was on his knees and so where we. He gave us a pep talk before we left. It was to encourage us to be able to work as a team and be able to socialize with one another.

Ji-Yu took me back home and I fell asleep the rest of the day. I was worn out because I couldn't sleep the other night. All i couod think was how Kihyun was the best. He made me feel amazing. He treated me wondefully. While I was sleeping Wonho called me.

"Hello," I said still half asleep.

"Come pick me up at the airport please," he said urgently.

"What," I said getting up from my bed wide awake.

"I'm in Seoul. Come pick me up," he said.

I went downstairs and told my mom. She took me to the airport and we found Wonho. She hugged him but I kept my distance away from him. He looked at me and looked sad. We walked back to the car and headed home. I sat in the back of the car while my mom had some business calls to make.

"What are you doing here," I asked.

"Wanted to come visit you and I moving back here," he said smiling at me.

"Don't you have a finacé to marry soon?"

"I broke it off." I looked at him stunned at what I was hearing. He knew I was going to ask why and he started to talk again.

"If you ever gave me the time to tell you, you wouldn't be wondering. I never liked her. My parenrs forced me to marry her because her parents and my parents were good business friends. I hated her. You never gave me the chance to explain over the phone," he said.

"Really," I asked.

"Yeah. I still love you Min-Seo. I never stopped loving you." He grabbed onto my hand and put it up to his chest.

"My heart still beats fast for you," he said staring into my eyes.

I could feel my heart beating faster and faster. Then I realized I still was with Kihyun. I pulled my hand away and looked outside the window.

"So who gave you that necklace," he asked.

"Umm...my boyfriend," I said quietly.

"Oh...you have a boyfriend," he said.

"Yeah. For about a couple months now," I answered.

"Oh..."

Then everything went silent. He moved away from me and looked out the window. I wanted to talk but he didnt seem in the mood to talk to me. He arrived at my place and I showed him our guest room. The door bell rang and my mom answered it. Then I heard screaming. I rushed out of the bathroom to see Min Hyuk and Shownu all over Wonho. They saw me at the stairs and they all stared at me then back to Wonho.

"ARE YOU GUYS DATING AGAIN," they asked loudly.

"No. Im still dating Kihyun," I said still not making eye contact with Wonho. It was just to awkward afterwards. They all stayed for dinner with me and my mom.

"Are you going to stay for good," Min Hyuk asked.

"Yeah," Wonho answered.

After we ate, Shownu and Min Hyuk left. I went into my room and stayed in my room. Someone knocked on the door and entered. Wonho came straight in without my approval.

"Yah! I didnt say you could come in," I yelled.

"Calm down. I haven't been in hear for a while."

I tried dragging him out but he pulled me back. I fell onto my bed, in his arms. I quickly got back up and yelled.

"Yah! SHIN HOSEOK. GET OUT."

He got out but was laughing. My face got red and hot. I went to sleep and tried to forget that Wonho was here. I decided to leave early so no one would see me with Wonho and think that I was with him. I met Kihyun at the bus station and went to school together. Kihyun and I went to a street food vendor for breakfast before going to school. When we got there, I saw Shownu, Hyungwon, Min Hyuk, and Wonho on the bleachers like the old days.

They called out my name and I did not want to turn around. I just hope they didnt say anything about seeing Wonho at my house last night. If they did I will be dead. I didn't want Kihyun thinking there was anything between us.

"Hey Min-Seo looks who came to visit. Kihyun this is Wonho," Min Hyuk said winking at me. I gave him the nastiest look then smiled at Kihyun.

"Oh Wonho," he said looking at me. They shook hands and Kihyun and I sat on the bleachers below them. Could this day get any worse.

We went to homeroom and Wonho took Kihyun's seat.

"Excuse me, but thats my spot," Kihyun said tapping Wonho on the shoulders.

"Oh mianhae but this was my seat first," Wonho said smiling at him.

"Yeah but now its mine," Kihyun said sounding frustrated.

"Wonho, give Kihyun his seat back. Theres a free seat next to Seo-Jun over there," I said. Wonho looked at me then got up from his seat. Kihyun sat down and I smiled at him.

During lunch, I went onto the roof since I didn't want to eat. At the time, Kihyun usually came up. But then Shownu walked in. He looked like he was in a rush. He took me by the arms and dragged me downstairs. We went to our classroom and he opened the door quietly.

"Go ahead look inside," he whispered.

And so I did. I quietly walked in and saw two people making out on the desk. I gasped and saw Bora making out with Kihyun. I didn't how to react. I wanted to scream, cry, punch someone, and die. I walked up to Kihyun slapped him in the face. I ripped off the necklace and threw it at his face.

"Min-Seo let me explain," he said.

"SHUT UP! YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME YOU LIAR. HOW COULD YOU YOO KIHYUN. HOW COULD YOU!"

I heard Bora chuckle and I slapped her harder on the face and walked away.

Kihyun grabbed a hold of me but I got out of his grip and pushed him off of me. I ran away up to the roof. I cried then I stepped onto the railing of the school. I looked down at my feet and I was pretty high up.

I can't trust anyone anymore. I can't give my heart out to anyone or it will just be broken. I'm just so tired and weak. I just need to leave.

I put my arms out and felt the wind pushing off my back. I counted down in my head and was going to let myself go.

"5...4...3...2...1, goodbye," I said in my head and closing my eyes.
